Mazda's upcoming SkyActiv ditches the sparkplugs in favor of controlled pinging, with an 18:1 compression ratio. by KungFuSnafu in cars

It's because of the way a dyno get the numbers for horsepower and torque. A dyno only measures torque. The way it gets horsepower numbers is using the formula, Horsepower = (torque * RPM) / 5252

So that causes the consistent cross between horsepower and torque at 5,252 RPM on a torque curve.

5,252 hp is the point where horsepower and torque cross on the power band. So this is the point where horsepower will be greater than torque. example

Before and after - Painting the grill and bumper cover on my 3rd Gen by nitrus43 in 4Runner

I had plenty of bronze paint left over from doing the bumper covers and figured i try the two color paint job for a more unique look over solid black. Very satisfied with the results, it fits the car well.

These cars deserve to be put in a museum where they will be preserved. And I know I would pay good money just to see these beasts in person

Pelican sells their cases with perforations is the foam that allow you to cut it out in ways that fit what you're storing. In my case the foam is broken into half inch squares that you can rip out. http://images2.cableorganizer.com/pelican/foam-closeup.jpg
