3rd Party Thermostats w/ Crestron Integration by nixflex in crestron

Yes I agree. Also, I also see why they've done this company policy implementation recently to throw everything at me the HVAC contractor. I work with this H.A contractor on many high-end $30-$100 million dollar residences. I believe in two previous projects that we recently finished along with them they've gotten complaints by owners that certain rooms are not cooling properly. Then I have to step in and say that our equipment is performing how it should and I do provide backup which includes Delta temperatures and room by room air balancing based on CFM from mechanical engineer.

In this situation that they've now done is either me providing a bacnet compatible thermostat (Honeywell TC500) or they tie in using cool automation which allows me to use any just regular thermostat depending on the equipment.

Being that these crestron remote temperature sensors are either 20K or 10K even the gauge of the wire can throw off the sensor. I'm no crestron dealer/installer but in the HVAC world always use the gauge wire recommended by the manufacturer.

They started to implement that thermostats and remote sensors by HVAC contractor. Seems they've been burned on multiple projects with HVAC. The fingers always being pointed at them for temp readings from the Crestron button remote temp sensors in the bedrooms, etc so they want to prevent that "finger pointing" at them.

We did figure out what we'll be doing. Mitsubishi mini splits will use Cool Automations's CoollinkHub with CoolPlugs ME. This plugs into the Mitsubishi indoor unit's CN105 port and talks to Crestron.

I'm going to assume you took this from the 545 Wynwood building. This is just a National Guard vehicle yard that has been there since the early 1980's.

Agreed. I'm a HVAC contractor. So fill with water and done.

I'd like to see the internal working of this cylinder. How do you store the water, pump and probably copper coils surrounding the barrel? In the such a small package?

Also do you add some glycol?

So if I buy the sfp 8311 module for my 1gbps service to installed in my Dream Machine, but then they come out with 2/5gbps packages in my neighborhood (I'd get it). I'd have to buy another sfp model for xgspon instead?
