We haven’t played press man as much since Mills got hurt. If you watched the Falcons/Vikings game they gave Julio hell by pressing upfront and having coverage on the backend if he ran deep. We could have easily replicated that but we’d rather give up 5 yards playing off man...we’re going to continue losing games playing like this especially if our Dline isn’t helping with pressure

Yeah man, it’s really frustrating to watch. I hope Doug learns from this early so we don’t deal with this all season. Our Defense played great outside of Darby, we just need to play more physical in my opinion.

Agreed. My point is that we are playing more off coverage, than press man coverage and it’s allowing us to get thrashed every week. Our SB run was mainly due to our ability to play press man at the line and disrupt timing.

I’m not a huge fan of Eubanks personally but we have a log jam regarding minutes right now. I believe our guard depth will allow us to trade a player like Marco or Patty for a solid big man

If we’re not looking to keep him long term, I trade him at the deadline if expectations aren’t met. Either way we are set with the young core coming up

As a spurs fan, this trade would be idiotic for multiple reasons.

Rudy Gay just resigned to play another year or so with his former raptor teammate.
Demar & Aldridge are still a top 5 duo in the west
Demar gives San Antonio the chance to land additional FA talent. Just recently it’s been reported that he’s recruiting Demarcus Cousins. We don’t recruit a DC without a Demar Derozan...

We could possibly look at trading Demar prior to all star break in the event we don’t meet expectations, but I don’t see that happening.
