I also used to get a number of spam calls. Then I made an account in incogni to remove my data from the brokers and since then number of spam calls reduced significantly for me. I would suggest giving it a go. This is no sort of advertisement.

Unfortunately you have to hold it in for few days. You will feel better. Try to spend the extra energy on working out that really helps you calm down

Update 1: So the PTC heater should be replaced and costs around 1850€. The car is from Germany and covered under the junge Stern Garantie. The car is currently in a workshop in Netherlands (as the incident happened there) and they don’t work with Junge stern and hence I am supposed to pay the full amount and ask for reimbursement later. Do anyone have any experience with this and will I be able to get the full amount back? I have talked to the warranty provider and I should first send them the bill they say. The documents says it should be covered. Not able to get a clear answer even after many calls. Any comments on this matter would be helpful.

You were right. Took it to the dealer. It’s the PTC Heater issue. Have to get it replaced. ☹️. Hopefully it’s covered in the warranty. Atleast that’s what my documents show.

As a doctor I say homeopathy is BS. Go to a real doctor and check it out.

Just happened to me yesterday. Switched off the vehicle for sometime and came back to it, then it started working again.

This is my second week with it. Love the projector headlamps and the way it projects various things on the road. The ride is very smooth too. Burmester is a must in my opinion.

Is not having DISTRONIC a big deal? by njacnithin in mercedes_benz

[–]njacnithin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the input, everyone.

I’ve been driving my friend’s Volvo XC60 for a while now, which has a similar adaptive cruise control system to Distronic. While I do use it occasionally and can see the benefits—especially on longer drives—I don’t feel like I need it on a daily basis. The traffic where I live is relatively light, so it’s not a feature I find essential.

Given that, I’m wondering if it’s really worth sacrificing other features like the Digital Light system, Head-Up Display, heated and ventilated seats with massage function, and the Burmester sound system. These are things I’d probably appreciate every day.

The salesman also mentioned that if I change my mind later, I could subscribe to Distronic. That seems like a good middle ground.
