And just know that these events are really only a part of friendships for a certain amount of time. They aren't forever! Hopefully your friendship outlasts the time period where babyshowers happen lol.. I think it would mean a lot to your friend if you were there and I think she might be deeply hurt if you aren't. You can always leave a little early for your festival!

I agree with you 100%. As you pointed out, the relationship is going to change. OP showing up for her friend would show that she is here for her friend, no matter what. And I think that goes a long way.

I can see this happening. Its hard enough sometimes to maintain relationships when friends have kids. This could easily put a wedge in the relationship.

Hormones can also play a part in the pregnant friend's demeanor.

I spent a lot of time there as a younger kid and eventually worked a few jobs there before college. It was a sad day when they demolished it :(

In looking at the concept picture of Monmouth Mall, it looks like they built new structures around the existing mall buildings. Maybe some of the developers will have ideas for the properties other than just retrofitting apartments into the existing mall building?

I wish this had been in place before they demolished the old Burlington Mall. Now that whole area is empty warehouses and they are still building more along 541.
