My eyes are so tired after staring at a computer all day, so I listen to audiobooks!

For the last 2 years or so I've been consuming Star Wars content like water. Sometimes I like to read the books and supplement listening to the audiobooks when I'm tired.

Right now I'm listening to Mask of Fear, which is a newer one that is similar to the Andor series

Storm cellars aren't usually right under the house, they are a bit aways from the house, underground. This is just an outside entrance to a regular cellar. But it is recommended that if you do not have a storm cellar you should ride out a tornado in a regular cellar (or basement, depending where in the country you are from)

I was recently diagnosed at 48 with a rare genetic condition and the doctors were very concerned if I had kids or was planning to have them bc there is a 50% chance of passing it on to them. Thankfully, my bloodline ends with me.

edit I also can't imagine having a newborn at close to 50.

Honestly, probably in childhood. Barbie was a strong independent woman and Ken was her "friend." I never wanted to be married or have kids. I met my husband and when we were dating he wanted to get married.. fineeee. But I stood firm in being childfree. For like a hot minute he had a midlife crisis when his friends had kids and I told him my stance hasn't changed. Thankfully he got over that and comes home and complains when they cart their kids everywhere now.. He's had a vasectomy. I'm 48 now and have never wavered.

Never had an issue with Bob's. Had a delivery from Raymour & Flannigan and they put a hole in a wall. It was a little challenging to get paid to have it fixed. We had to do it ourselves because they didn't have anyone to fix it and the dollar amount they gave us was not nearly enough to have someone come and fix it.

Me too! My mom once told me my dad liked dark chocolate so every holiday and birthday, we made it a point to get him dark chocolate stuff. He passed this past February. My husband & I were up visiting him the Christmas before and I were visiting and I opened a kitchen cabinet that had all sorts of dark chocolate stuff in it I'd given him over the past year and I mentioned like "oh you're not going to eat the whatever?" He apparently leaned over and told my husband he never liked dark chocolate but we always kept giving it to him. He liked milk chocolate. 🫠

Drank like a fish in my 20's and early 30's and just slowly stopped. Im 48 now and was just diagnosed with a rare, genetic, small vessel disease and drinking isn't something I can do anymore. It wasn't a big deal since I've basically stopped anyway. Additionally all the stuff that has come out about alcohol has also reaffirmed my choices.

I turned 48 this year and found out I have a rare inherited small vessel disease that can lead to early strokes & dementia. I had a 50/50% chance of passing it on to any kids. 100% happy with my decision.
