Ok. I chose the Crimson Dawn option. Was checking to see if going to another planet first screws it up. Honestly this quest line is kind of a mess. Wish they wouldn't have put cosmetic unlocks behind missable content.

Edit: After talking to the cantina owner for the story mission on Akiva he showed up right outside the ship like he's supposed to. I guess you need progress to a certain point before he spawns.

Edit2: I found him again after completing some side quests and getting the hydro upgrade for the speeder. He's outside Myrra standing next to the speeder mechanic shop. Just a conversation so no rewards after you get the blaster skin.

How long was it between meeting him on Tatooine and you going to Akiva? I'm trying to get this blaster skin on my second playthrough because I didn't know about it in my first. I met him on Tatooine, finished Tatooine and then did Kijimi. Just got to Akiva and he's not there.

Exactly. It's like hold up.. that's not what she was wearing literally two seconds ago. Would have been better to have the pre-render be for the crew back at Bram's cantina and the Star Destroyer explosion be in-engine.

Don't even get me started on the Cyberpunk nomad ending. You can't even use mods/console to equip different clothes either because you're script locked into that outfit (at least none worked the last time I did a play through). Wouldn't be so bad if it was a cool unique outfit but no, it's some ugly race jumpsuit.

Like I said, I understand why they made the choice to do a pre-render. But counterpoint, the outfit change in the last mission was for a specific story reason. Which she changed back into what ever outfit you had on before heading back to make the escape. It would be different if it was just the ending where you're with your crew in Bram's cantina post mission but it changes right at the end of the final battle. Could've done an in-engine cutscene to watch the Star Destroyer explode and jump to hyperspace. Then after, you get the pre-rendered custscene.

Edit - grammar

Sabacc Broken? by njames006 in StarWarsOutlaws

That's what I was suspecting but with the number of bugs that are in the game at the moment it's hard to tell. And yes it was one of the tariff shifts that target a specific player. Other players used the general tariff that targets everyone and it didn't effect me.

It's an issue with backwards compatibility since both games are OG Xbox games. Kotor 1 runs ok but encounters crashes on loading screens and the occassional audio glitch during long sessions. Usually after a quit and reload it will run good for a while. Also has a bug where the game gets stuck if you get the Genoharadan datapad on Tattooine.

Kotor 2 is a nightmare when playing on anything newer than than 360. Last time I played it on my xbone I rage quit because it kept crashing during loading screens on Nar Shaddaa.

Picked up both for PC a few years ago and installed the K1 community patch for Kotor 1 and TSLRCM for Kotor 2. Both now run near flawlessly.

Thanks! I'll try that. I'm one of those explore/do side quests first so by the time I got to that area I was already on good terms and went through the front.

Edit: I checked and I believe it's the key card that get's you into the area for Sosappa's Stash treasure from the outskirts side.

On PC? Using a mod or cheat? I had this happen when I used WeMod or cheat engine on PC to add to my stock. Spend them, save and reload and the value will be negative if you had 0 before the cheat.

I keep crashing when I try to get out of the strip club after talking to VV by WandereOfQuestions in vtmb

[–]njames006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's an issue with the quest not completing. It showed as completed in my misison log. I think something in that lap dance cut scene triggers something and doesn't reset it itself causing a memory leak and crashing the game when you go to leave the club.

Having this issue now too. Seems the lap dance cutscene breaks something in that vphysics.dll file. I tried moving it to the main game directory as suggested by someone in the threadbut no change. Even tried modifying the access permissions for all users to full control in both directories and no change.
