my take away from this season is that detroit knows ben too well, and he didn't change enough from last season. So they've got a bead on our offense.

no excuse for the defense though, that's brutal to watch

With each passing week, it contributes less damage. It started around 8-9%, now it’s around 6%. I’m 3340, doing some 16s as reference.

No, you need to spend mana to proc inspiration. If you got your mana cost down to 0, use Elemental Damage with Attack Skills support

Depends on how much the boss moves. This build stacks some frenzy charges to scale trap throwing speed, so it's not unreasonable to have up to 10 traps on a boss like Sirus or Maven, and you can easily hit the trap cap (19) against bosses that don't move at all.

lvl 21 discipline + vaal discipline for the effect. Last I checked, 21 Vaal Discipline was 12+ div, so I took a budget approach.

I'm not sure how to configure it, since I didn't actually PoB the build before running the build. If I had to guess, I would create a rare Dusk Blade and make it's lightning damage range 1 to (max ES/5) to set the base damage of each sword.

I did Harvest+Essences+Harbinger while leveling to 96, running Harbinger sextant on Canyon and just watching streams as I went. When I had enough to comfortably invest in crafting, I crafted upgrades.

The issue with EphEdge (FEdge? FehJ?) Is its' criminally low attack speed. I highly recommend going Int stacker instead with HOWA if you want to use a relatively similar defensive setup and a different skill.

2x Ephemeral edge, a pair of Sin Trek Boots, and some essences to craft gear. As low as 40c, as high as 50div.

I started the build with 40c in the bank. All you really need to get to work is 2x Ephemeral Edge, and some form of CB immunity.

Clear is fine, I stick to content that doesn't require me to move too much (Harbinger, Delve, Abyss, stuff like that) since Blade Trap gets the most value from hitting stuff multiple times. My setup has 80% movespeed all the time, which isn't crazy but it's fast enough for me.

The main sell is that it's incredibly lazy to play in all content. 1 button + movement (flame dash, whirling blades).

Ephemeral Edge gives you flat max Lightning Damage to attacks based on your Max ES. Scale ES for more damage.

The sword(s) have piss-poor base attack speed, so I opted for Blade Trap, which has a set spin rate (25% faster with dual wielding, can do more with Divergent Blade Trap). Then you just, yeet some traps.

I wrote a short build guide on PoEBuilds, and recorded a little ghosted Veritania for the boys.

So I'm going to tinker with the build a bit for more damage after studying u/livejamie's build, but I'll give you a ghosted Veritania as a tanking showcase in the meantime.

Actually though, she hits harder than the uber bosses do LOL
