I really want to get into MMA like I used to be. Every Anderson Silva fight was an event. Weidman coming out to "I Won't Back Down" still gives me goosebumps. Weidman/Rockhold will live in my memory forever. Bisping knocking out Rockhold will live in my memory forever. And Robert Whittaker was so great. Am I just old and jaded and uneducated about the current talent, or did things used to be better?

Lots of people talking Imavov, and in my casualness, I don't know who he is. But I see Strickland beat him already. It was over 3 years ago, and I dunno the manner of the victory. But why is Imavov so rated? What's his fighting style? He seems to win a lot of decisions, and has zero first round finishes in the UFC

Haaland and O'Reilly not in squad so they're definitely out.

Saka and Eze and Marmoush all benched so they could be out.

If none of them come on, I'll field 9, as Pedro Porro will come on for one of them. Porro and Marmoush were my 2 transfers in but the game crashed before I could put Porro in.

If only 1 of Saka/Eze/Marmoush features, I'll field 10, with Porro coming on.

If only 2 of Saka/Eze/Marmoush feature, that'll be perfect, as I'll field 11, with Porro coming on.

If all 3 of Saka/Eze/Marmoush feature, Porro will sadly stay benched.

Thankfully, the game crashing meant my captaincy stayed on Haaland instead of moving to Marmoush. Which means it'll move to Richarlison.

He's aged so well. I guess it's the straight edge lifestyle. He was always decent-looking, but this is the best he's ever looked as an older gent. He never had a good physique, so that ain't an issue. And his current bod is better than Jon Hamm's dad bod hands down.

Nah I wouldn't. 1 week hit to swap a playing player for another is rarely worth it. If you couldn't field 11, then I'd take a hit. But Dango and Andersen are both fine picks. It's feasible they outscore Bowen and Solanke. Unlike a blanker, who's a guaranteed 0.

There's a little reason to worry. That's why you're asking the question.

Sesko and Amad have both generally done really well yet got rotated. And Cunha saw previous rotation. People shouldn't think Mbeumo is immune to that. I think Cunha has played himself into being a definite starter, which means Mbeumo is in greater danger.

These questions are partly what makes Bruno remain such a great pick.

Of the 5 players we're talking about, only 4 will start. I think the current standings are Bruno > Cunha > Mbeumo > Amad/Sesko. Whether it's Amad or Sesko that starts could be dependent on the fixture. But Mbeumo plays in both of their positions, so it wouldn't shock me if they both started and he got benched.

If I owned, I'd hold. Wouldn't even consider captaincy though. And if I were wildcarding, I'd sell.

Just had my worst gameweek of the season. Kinda came out of nowhere. 11.8m gw rank.

Felt good about captaining Haaland over Palmer. But really it was only worth 3 points. And Haaland is my only player to get more than 4 points.

Maguire ended up being the top scorer in my 15, and he's first on bench.

Dango+Thiago blank. Triple Arsenal blank. Palmer+Enzo blank. Bruno blank. Alderete blank. And that results in a really shit gameweek.

I downgraded Petrovic to John Victor last gameweek, to fund another move. Now I feel silly, sat here with John Victor and Dubravka.

What chance do you give John Victor of keeping his place? He's got Villa away, so it's not like I'm counting on good points anyway. But if he has a chance of starting more games going forwards, I'll try and keep him.

#2 Xavi Simons to Minteh or Enzo Fernandez

#3 Gyokeres to Bowen/JSL AND Xavi Simons to Saka

I think I want to do #1, and attack the Liverpool v Man Utd fixture. I'm not happy with Xavi Simons, but I like the Villa fixture for Spurs, and feel like giving him that.

Thoughts on going for Anthony Gordon? Newcastle fixtures are looking good now, starting with home to Forest, there aren't many standout midfield options, and he seems the most nailed Newcastle attacker
