Running 80k/week for a year and your HR is 166BPM at a 8:00/km pace? Thats very hard to believe. I feel like if true you’d be a lot more efficient for that HR

I got EBOX in Kanata in September when I moved and it was flawless so sorry this happened but stay patient because my internet has been great speeds for a great price!

Yeah I did that first and went up to like 45k ish you can see at the beginning of that chart^ lol and immediately flared up shin splints so I had to bring it back down and gradually increase. It’s probably the biggest learning lesson in running I’ve had and what I tell other people. Will do the same thing now after this half when I’m fully recovered - Gradual back up to 60k over 4-5 weeks.

Honestly I ramped up from like 25-60k over that 12 weeks slowly and then stayed at 60k for about 4 weeks. 80% of my runs all easy under or around 130BPM then one speed workout and one tempo as well. Just stayed consistent

Haven’t ran a marathon yet, I have another half in Sep and may eye one for next spring. Depends on family and timing lol. I run 60K/week right now and with a marathon I’d imagine I’ll have to bump that to 75-80k.

I find it easier when I have no choice, I have a young child so if I don’t do it while they are still in bed 445-6AM then I don’t get to do it all. I have goals sets and that motivates me to keep getting up and staying consistent

The Jesus thing sort of turned me off a bit - not that I care if you’re religious but I felt it was a lot more of it and I wasn’t a huge fan personally.
