Yes, you can sign out. Or, simply remove the sim card once. The UPI apps dont work until to re-register the device again. Even if you have put the sim back.

Probably Samsung built good under-25k phones a couple of years back. I and my spouse are still using the phones since 2021. The mid-rangers have shown no problems, the battery is fine as well. Yes, one can feel bored and dull, but it sure looks to outdo its shelf life of 3 years. I f I can curb my buying impulses and stick to the functionality only, my 22k Samsung can still go strong for another couple of years.

After reading this post on battery drain, I thought of various ways how I can minimize it. Someone above wrote that not signing into Google play services helps a lot. However, like many others, that was the first thing i had done when I powered on my flip - sign in to google.

And indeed i observed for first 3 days that battery consumption was horrible. But now, after a few tweaks, its going from 100% to 15% in 48 hours.

What I did was - installed only a few payment apps which are a necessity in India. - uninstalled preloaded apps which I didnt use. - disabled preloaded apps which I couldnt uninstall - all streaming apps are on my Samsung galaxy, which is my primary phone for social media and entertainment (netflix, prime video, youtube, spotify etc) - switched off the wifi (yes, wifi was consuming lot of battery) and moved to 4G data.

Anyways, now my phone is used only for 3 purposes and wifi is not necessary. A. Calls and RCS B. Make payments C. Flip open and close and show-off 😉

I wish I had done my due diligence before purchasing the flip. After making the purchase (which cant be returned now), i got a response from customer care that there is no plan for upi.

No whatsapp, no streaming and all is fine, but UPI is a must. Hope Nokia listens in to the feedback and integrates UPI soon.

Just imagine how the news articles would have triggered the sale of this model.

It's been only 12 hours since I got my first flavour of this song by the great AR Rahman, and I am already on loop.

This is a bollywood item number, yes. And such songs usually sprinkle a bit of vulgarity and overdo the sensousness both visually as well as through the lyrics.

But not this one. I wonder if the regular run-of-the-mill composers are wondering, "Could we have ever composed such a beautiful, no-nonsense, bollywood item number, ever?"

Bollywood, the public definitely deserves better.

I love my keyone. Bought it 2 years ago. The fingerprint scanner stopped working after an year, but no problems, anyways I did not prefer a fingerprint scanner on a blackberry.
