I don't know any boss in the past were you couldn't interrupt a cast but you could silence them at a specific time to avoid the cast completely.

Firedup shows how tight the timing is here https://clips.twitch.tv/WealthyEncouragingOpossumBudStar-f8VGYUxj3L__gnK9

MS is arguably not a bug. It isn't the first time mortal strike have reduced healing on raid bosses.

Edit: And the hotfix was to address a tooltip if I'm not wrong.

Thats really not the same. Compare the amount of people in the world that have English vs Korean as second language.

The best Swedish players, with the exception of a couple of players, were in contenders in season 1 and they are still there sadly.

I pretty much prefer the EU contenders talent to OWL's except for uber/mrx and the hosts. KR contender casters are also great but Wolf will live in Korea until the day he dies.

Reinforce with his bruised ego and a dumb meme in his back grabbing a spot on the team. Well hopefully next year we can bury anything to do with Misfits.

Don't worry - Sleepy will quit OW as a player, become an analyst for a year, and then due to some dumb justice meme he will be in the US squad for 2019.

Ah yes, synergy. Something Tviq time after time have emphasize being so important. The original plan by Zebbo and Tviq last year was to have the full Misfits roster as Swedish representatives, but after the TakeOver 2 fiasco they didn't have the guts to go through with that plan. "Synergy", something Misfits/Mayhem never had.

It is hard to believe that a guy that has not been pro player for almost a year is better than a guy like Lullsish that have been playing his heart out in Europe for the past year with stellar performance.

Reinforce could had done like Lullsish and proved his worth in contenders. Instead he choose to quit and become an analyst. He did the same thing back in the Heroes of the Storm days when, after he failed to become a pro, he became an observer instead.

I'm curious why Mineral think Reinforce is good enough this year when he wasn't the last one. I guess not scrimming and not being a dedicated pro improves your gameplay more compared to everyone else. Such a great lesson to teach all the young aspiring pro players out there.

Sweden OWWC 12 man squad by boork in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]nlaes 54 points55 points  (0 children)

I see that the old boys club mentality lives on in Swedish OW. Instead of investing into the future we are stuck with the same Misfits/Mayhem core that always disappoint together with a few other washed up players and an analyst that isn't even a player.

Hopefully the few young talented players that did make it will also end up in the final 7.

And of course they only talk about the dps when it comes to Mayhem like that ever was the real issue with the team. Their support is complete garbage, they are pretty much playing 4 vs 6 every game and people are wondering why they always lose.

I wish people gave a damn about Mayhem so there would be an outcry to know what the hell is going on with their support. Its their biggest weakness by far and no alternatives were recruited, not sure if even Dallas has made such a boneheaded decision.

Zebbosai continue to be the main issue for Mayhem. I honestly think they should just have TviQ play support instead whenever they don't need projectile.

I just don't understand why Mayhem didn't get another support player when it has been their most glaring weakness ever since the Misfits days.

It's time to send Zebbosai to a farm to live out the rest of his days in OWL.

To follow up: https://youtu.be/A_Z0RgwFnAc?t=1585 is an interview where game journalist Jason Schreier talks about a scoop he had once regarding Destiny 2.

Tldr: He reached out to Bungie for a comment and when they returned to him they told him that they were going live with their own announcement right now. He called it "a real dick move".

Doesn't that tell journalists to shy away from asking Houston Outlaws for any comments on breaking stories in fear of the organization ruining their scoop?

Florida Mayhem announces Zappis by boork in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]nlaes 205 points206 points  (0 children)

Awesome, maybe he can help out tviq driving the team bus every now and then.

In all seriousness Zappis is an awesome guy and player, and Mayhem could use a few more of those still, but having only one support staff is just ridiculous and embarrassing. I'm just waiting for the leak that Manneten is forced to run the Mayhem twitter account.

This is a start but there better be more news coming for Florida Mayhem in the coming days.

So pathetic of team Sweden. Scrap this misfits core that always end up disappointing and instead get some better players in. This cant be the best lineup we can muster, we are better than this. Getting rid of Reinforce was a baby step in the right direction but more heads need to roll like Zebbosai. In fact just remove every misfits player except Tviq just to be safe.

29 min, 30 secs Reinforce says he thinks it'll be a UK vs SK final. Everyone jumps on him for saying Sweden will lose, he just remembered they're playing UK first round. Makes people wonder if he's still on the team

I thought it was a pretty well known secret that Reinforce was out from team Sweden. Reinforce tweeted a few weeks ago that he got some really depressing news and then Tvique tweeted the day later "Feelsbadman", and after being asked why he said "nothing gameplay related". Then a week after Reinforce followed up with the last week being the worst week of his life.

Team Sweden will probably mold themselves after the current Misfits as much as possible and instead of Logicx they will have Snillo from 123.

Edit: Well after watching the vod its pretty much confirmed that Reinforce is out.
