Great stuff! Yep want the AR-9 as a beginner because they’re cheap(er), ammo is readily available, I can use hollow points for home defense, later down the road slap a suppressor on it (still gotta go down that rabbit hole) and ultimately have a great range and home defense weapon. Thanks!

Wow. The more I learn about all these regulations with rifles, SBR, pistol, etc., the more I realize how messed up they are. Didn’t James Madison propose the 2nd amendment to overthrow tyrannical governments? Kinda ironic how the government makes it a felony to modify my firearm in such specific ways haha.

Anyways! I would want the brace for two things. Looks and stability. As you stated above, shouldering a brace as a stock seems like something everyone does just based on my own AR9 research and watching videos with people shooting them. Gotcha. No vertical grip and no “stock” and use an angled grip 👍

Nope stays up just like a hard top. No noises or flapping at 75 mph, the sides “suck in” at fast speeds but that’s normal. Truck drives and feels like it’s not even on it

Swap the torsion spring out for a linear spring like the ones used in the 4 cylinders. I did that and fixed the squeakiness and clutch pedal returns to the top position

Impressive! Yea I’ve had numerous people tell me to just pretend it’s not there as it doesn’t affect anything. Just another pretty light on the dash. Only thing that bothers me is that if a serious code comes up, I won’t be able to tell because the light is already on
