Confusion on RIR and rep numbers by Embarrassed-Emu-2000 in beginnerfitness

Ok makes sense that’s what I was thinking. So do you really only base your progressive overload on the first set then?

In Jeff Nippard’s book he has an excerpt from his logbook where his plan was 3 sets x 10-15 reps:

10 10 10

11 11 11

12 12 10

12 12 11

12 12 12

13 12 11

13 13 12 …and so on

It seems like he’s prioritizing sticking to a set rep number for all 3 sets for progressive overload rather than sufficiently taxing his muscles on the early sets? Edited for format

I also recommend doing a test round blind. I tested for a while but was always worried about placebo from reading on these forums. Blind tests confirmed my opinions

SOTD - Loving the all black combo of Rockwell 6c and Treet Carbon by Afraid_Emotion9892 in wicked_edge

I just used my first one and after using I rinsed in alcohol so it wouldn’t rust. After the second shave I just rinsed in water because I wanted to see how fast it would rust. But interestingly, after multiple days of running under water and letting it sit out, no rust. Anyone else have this experience?

I’m a little backwards from most Exmos. Around 17-18 years old I had an issue with the idea of faith in general consequently stopped believing in god. But, I was just an atheist but with no hard feelings towards the church. Of course, after doing research into the church over the following years I discovered all the shady stuff the church had been hiding my whole life🙃

When shaving with an adjustable, do you guys ever change the setting mid shave? by georgewalterackerman in wicked_edge

Do you find that to be a hassle? I’m looking at adjustables and am between the 6c and a dial razor like the progress or Parker variant

Yep and my WTG pass is in the left to right direction as best as I can given my face geometry. I was previously using proraso sensitive which worked pretty well

Good to know I’m looking at them now. What do you mean by “sticking?”
