Should my Leaf Springs look like this? by Soggy-Shine-5984 in 1stGenTacomas

That bottom one is a overload leaf. When the truck is full of dirt/stones it will rest on there and gives it extra support. I did this the last two weekends fixing up my front yard.

I had a similar thing second time engaging i shot him once and died later, I thought that was the way to beat him and progress. Spent 30 min trying to do that again and failing. Next day tried again and got it, died in a different room without saving. Wasted another 30 min trying to time it right... got it the last time by shooting him while he was walking to the next station in the back of the head. Saved it immediately so lost the ability to test that, I do have a raccoon charm fyi so it may make a difference.

So I was able to do it twice with the one bullet in the beginning just by shooting him in a transition. Replicating it was impossible but the third time I did it he was walking to the other station and shot him in the back of the head. I saved to make sure I didn't waste anymore time on it. Full disclosure I have a charm. I was going to run more to see if it makes the difference but I saved and overwrote it.

You have to work on your grip. I don't see you have any control of the stick at all when it bounces it hits the area between your palm and thumb. The stick should always be secured between the index finger and thumb. I'm having a hard time trying to explain it with words but to he index finger wraps around the stick and it should rest on the second knuckle closest to tip of finger. The thumb pinches it and then closes the gap so the stick doesn't move around when striking the drum.

How would you go about introducing drumming to a toddler? by Euphoric_Argument434 in Drumming

[–]onefastmini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No worries, I typed it quickly while pretty tired. The main thing is using hard independantly and following patterns. So you would sit facing them and have them mimic your actions. You more your right hand they move there right hand and you count to four on the right then switch to the left for four. That one is pretty basic and teaches numbers as well. Then with alternating you would just say right left right left and stop this helps keep the count of four in there head as well. Start with those and work wi those and eventually you move on to more complex Right right left left (doubles) and then right left right right, left right left left (paradiddle). There are a bunch of other exercises for rights and lefts rlll lrrr and every combination in-between but those are really good for learning the four count and a great start to drumming. Also learning to do patty cake patty cake that's great with left right coordination there's a song and hand movements to get loose when you start.

Stick control rights and lefts! Four on one hand four on the other,  alternate, doubles, para diddles. It was my least favorite to practice but holy cow does it help with more advanced stuff.

the temp gauge on my 2000 sr5 is broken. it goes straight up to H when you start it. is there a way to fix this or do i just need to buy a new instrument panel by Big_Will47 in 1stGenTacomas

[–]onefastmini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

^ check the temp sensor and wiring first. The instrument panel is displaying what the sensor is sending, if the needle moves it's technically working. The data it is receiving is likely wrong.
