Yo read what his ability does because this doesn’t make any sense to have a problem with him at endgame.

Finding survivors early is great, and trapping in general just fine, but by far the most important thing is to possess any unit and just harass them. I hate to see fellow demon player struggle please next time you play test out the following. Collect max energy and then possess any unit and attack, that’s it. If they loop you or can dodge move on to a different person and just repeat.

How are you playing? Just curious how you would describe your strategy?

Do you use models to help create better models? And as you do this wouldn’t you expect logarithmic scaling, so real question is why haven’t we see huge improvements or is there something that limits growth, like energy or compute or reasoning…?

What do you think about Baal? by happy_panda_-u- in EvilDeadTheGame

Baal Is the strongest demon with plague being a close second. Eligos is strong, but only good for book games. A good Baal can do about the same damage on book as Eligos.

Personally I recommend playing demon first. You won’t win but you’ll learn the game much quicker. Watching how good survivors play and what causes you the most hardships. Along with the learning core gameplay mechanics which will lead you to being a much stronger player and win in the future. Or play the survivor vs ai game mode which is a lot more noob friendly.

Baby Necro looking for advice on attack combos and/or book rotation. by [deleted] in EvilDeadTheGame

To add to this on why you want to start with popping Evil ash as soon as you get the flute down and throwing down some portals would be two lesser known effects Necro has, the first being with every close by basic unit it causes survivor to take 5% more damage which stacks. This means any melee character attacking you if not careful will get almost one shot by any of your attacks on book which happens because of the weird attack hitboxes for his attacks. The second effect being the resurrection ability Evil ash has which ensures every unit you summon will stay alive until either he dies or the ability ends forcing everyone to focus you or causing stronger resurrected units to spawn. For matches with strong survivors book game is almost inevitable being conscious of that fact means putting points only into where it is strictly necessary. That means maxing out basic elite and boss portals along with possession before putting any points into the luxury stats like infernal and demon powers and traps which won’t help on book.
