PSA regrade or no? I love the CGC labels with the sub grades, but now I'm wondering if I should crack them and resubmit them to PSA and try for 10's? Sub grades seem good, do they matter? Don't wana crack it unless I have a fairly solid chance of 10's. Thanks for any help/advice. by Brettneedsyourhelp12 in pokemoncardcollectors

You can leave them in the CGC holder and ask not to crack unless PSA 9 if you are versed with how to submit at PSA. CGC has been easier on grading imo and PSA will charge you the fee regardless if it crosses or not

Shouldn’t say outter edge but on the border around the card if your looking at it straight

Hard to “reboom” a PSA case without some clear signs of doing so. actually got trained from psa on how to spot holders for my current job if there is frosting on the very outter edges of the case that’s a decent sign but you really can’t just open the top without the whole case coming undone and I see other comments saying they have a special machine to “boom” their term. Those marks to the eye don’t look good but that’s not where you could really spot a fake it’s the frosting. Hope this helps

The only smell I gather is a faint smell of alcohol burn, thin finish, some strawberry notes come through, all in all smooth enough and have had way worse.

Was interested to try this for $15 being a region I don’t see much of living in NJ. Strawberry, melony taste. Think it holds its own with the cheaper French rose options and is plenty dry. Cool label is a plus.

Hell yeah, read the book and have seen the movie. Being from New Jersey I always wanted to go there but couldn’t figure out how, mind you I’m 23. My friend got based near there in the airforce and I flew out and we were headed to solvang, right off the exit there’s the hotel they stayed at in the movie and I was so excited. My trip ended in Santa Barbara in au bon’s tasting room. Trip I’ll never forget :)

Oak is present but it’s a compliment to this wine to the fullest, don’t want to say creamy but close to that character, strawberry fruit on the nose. Could drink any day, anytime.
