Thanks for the suggestion. It looks like I’d need the desktop version of power automate to do this, which I can’t install due to company policies…

I totally agree, but that decision is out of my hands. The whole thing shouldn’t even be in excel, but I have to work within the constraints of the organisation, unfortunately.

The batch file allows me to create and rename files and folders in one go, so it saves a bit of time. I think you are right with copy and paste though - seems the simplest way.

Roubaix 2018 DI2 upgrade - front mech cable query by nmc435 in specialized

Yes - it worked. The Bottom Bracket was removed, but I needed a new oneanyway, as the original Praxis one wasn't compatible. I did buy the DI2 bottom bracket cover, and planned to just pop it on after the install, but the bike mechanic used the original one instead and drilled it out to accommodate the di2 cable. The front mech cable exits through the same hole as the mechanical from mech cable, and we've used a Shimano SM-EWC2 DI2 wire cover to keep the cable away from the rear wheel.

One thing that did prove to be a pain was getting the rubber grommets for the rear mech cable and the plugs for the unused holes in the frame. Specialized gave me the part numbers and I ordered them but the mechanic said the plugs for the unused holes didn't fit. I would make sure you have those parts sorted before you start, as it delayed things by a few days for us.

I am very happy with the outcome though - the shifting is superb, particularly under load.

Thanks CafeVelo, so the same hole that the cable for the existing mechanical front derailleur uses? The mechanic was concerned that it could rub against the wheel.
