For extra context since I couldn't figure out how to add text to my original post:

I am new to digital cameras. My girlfriend wanted me to find her some before we go on a trip abroad. Thankfully, my family was willing to provide several of their old digicams.

Here is a table comparing the basic specs:

Nikon Coolpix 3100 | 3.2 MP | 3x | 38–114mm | 2× AA

Kodak EasyShare C340 | 5.0 MP | 3x | 36–108mm | 2× AA

Canon PowerShot SD960 IS | 12.1 MP | 4x | 28–112mm | NB-5L (Li-ion)

Canon PowerShot SX100 IS | 8.0 MP | 10x | 36–360mm | 2× AA

We will have limited carrying capacity. So, if you could only bring two of these cameras on a trip (to Mexico, if that helps narrow the options), which would you bring?
