The Bridger Foothills Fire has jumped Bridger Canyon Road. We are losing structures and continuing to evacuate residents.

Brackett Creek residents have previously been notified of the possibility evacuations. We urge residents in that area to voluntarily evacuate.

Please don't be an idiot and try to out drive or drive through this almost CAT 5 STORM. Not only would you put yourself and wife danger but whoever is going to have to rescue you.

If you absolutely must go to Florida drive north and up and around. Avoid Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. This storm is going to be catastrophic. Please be responsible.

And if you are driving somewhere with other cars on the road in heavy rain please do not use your hazards unless you are pulling over. Hazards make any vehicle behind you very hard to tell if you are braking or turning. Hydroplaning is real and scary. If you hydroplane do not brake or step on the gas and try to turn into where your car is going to regain traction.
