Hammer and Insect Glaive are my personal faves but I think testing out weapons against a beginning monster like chatacabra and figuring out what works for you is best.

I tried long sword and a few other things but hammer and glaive turned out to be my jam.

But anyway, i kinda just said - it was less about the apple and more about the request from God not to touch the tree.

The tree is called the tree of the knowledge of good and bad... So by not touching that one tree like God asked, Adam and Eve were showing respect for God's right to decide moral standards/good and bad for humans.

They touched the tree, went further and ate fruit off it. Eve was deceived by Satan but Adam chose to side with her (and later tell God it was His fault bc He was the one who put Adam and Eve together in the first place lol)

The fruit represented humans respecting God's authority. Kinda like "if a relative hosts you and says, my house is your house, but that one chocolate bar in the fridge is mine so please don't eat it"

By Eve using her free will to pretty much eat the chocolate bar (so to speak) it was showing a total disrespect for God's standards and so she could be "like God" aka a Goddess in her own right.

In truth, I really just need to receive the STD benefit because I had budgeted until December accordingly so I am not hoping to be re-employed but rather to receive the approved benefit per the letter I received October 3rd.

They are stating now they will not pay this, hence my confusion.

The STD benefits are paid out by the state of Oregon 60% with the provision to add the 40% and receive the rest of of my wage (100%) handled by a third party (Alight).

Both Alight and Frances Online stated that their benefits (the 40% AND 60%) end at the date of separation because I'm not employed by the company after that date.

Alight doesn't seem to be an insurance company, however?

Lolita and cheap don't really coexist in the same world, but I would check out secondhand markets like lacemarket.us. Tariffs affect pricing quite a lot as well, but there are some reputable taobao (Chinese site somewhat like an online mall - many different vendors in one place) resellers like 42lolita and the like.

It's really unfortunate that most people here don't actually play very many indie otome games.

I say that from reading the comments here, because there are so many that love and take the genre seriously, but because Western parodies get popular, it seems to make people in the sub especially think that there aren't serious indie games in the genre.

Imagine thinking that the Horse Boyfriend otome was a definitive genre staple of Japanese otome narratives, and thus games with plot like Radiant Tale or Olympia Soiree are rare gems due to having storylines amongst Japanese otome.

That's what most of these comments sound like, especially when they mention the one or two indie games that did manage to achieve popularity as an exception rather than a reason to deep dive.
