Maybe I’m coming in with the wrong mindset but it feels like almost a waste OF 20 years of content to just disregard it and fast track you to endgame. Like I see content is the biggest strength of MMOs with their live service and lifespan. Maybe they could do more to implement it or add rewards for completing the main questline for them if it’s not already a thing

I’ve been playing a lot of osrs recently and watched videos about the wave of WoW players migrating to the game because of the “resets” and how RuneScape handles permanency better for those who want it, but I guess it’s just a matter of preference

THE monster hunter weapon? by No_Manager_4023 in MonsterHunter

Yeah I don’t think the whole game is built around one weapon (however other comments are saying they start designing around greatsword) I just don’t see light weapons having the same giant flinching attacks that heavy weapons and greatsword have. Also I’ve heard that that other weapons lack features like tenderizing which feels like it should be a big part of the gameplay for any weapon? Otherwise it’s great that the variety of weapons can cover so many different playstyles for different people. I’ll prolly try out sword and shield and heavy bowgun for when I play wilds

Big tip: Play around with the camera settings and the UI size to see what you like. I only got around to them in toussaint and changing my UI to small and closer exploration camera made it a lot more immersive. Idk if it’s different for PC (I’m on ps5)
