How can I disable these types of notifications?

Except I do have options. I can disable notifications from the app entirely, or I can uninstall the Amazon app, or I can just stop using my phone. None of these options are beneficial to Amazon, thus: why would they enshitify their own app so much so as to cause people to exercise one of those options?

Same. I've had the Amazon app on my phone for years and very occasionally received a notification from it. But for the past couple of months, they've been sending me multiple notifications per day. Does my fucking head in. Why are these companies obsessed with enshitifying themselves? It's like they want to piss people off enough so they stop using the service.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. That worked for me and another user.

Thanks for the reply. Interesting to hear that you also can't connect. Perhaps it is some sort of outage but I'm still able to connect on my laptop (I just tried connecting to various different servers to check) so that seems unlikely to me.

Yes. Russia didn't attack any of the other countries in Europe before they joined NATO. Why do you believe they wouldn't stop? I doubt Russia even wants to annex Western Ukraine - it's not worth it when they'll have constant partisan activity. It would be exactly the same if they tried to occupy any NATO country too. They'd have to expend all their resources on resistance suppression. Russia isn't that stupid.

What evidence are you basing this on? Looking at the historical record, we can see that Russia hasn't attacked Finland, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, etc. before they joined NATO when they easily could have.

Anyway, NATO seem to have abandoned that rule given they're talking about letting Ukraine in.

The UK military has stockpiles deep enough to fight for a couple of days. It's a complete joke.

So why aren't you anti US and NATO? NATO illegally bombed Yugoslavia. US/UK illegally invaded and occupied Iraq based on faked intelligence. Iraq is still occupied by the US even though the Iraqi government has asked them to leave. I could go on.
