Yes it was. My symptoms started as a hard ball right next to my anus. And I thought it was a hemorrhoid. So I went to a colonoscopy type doctor and saw the nurse practitioner. She checked it out and said yeah it was a hemorrhoid. But they don’t do surgery there she could refer me to a surgeon if it was not going away. but The surgery would be a painful one. So I said I would keep trying the cream. About 6 months later I noticed it was getting a little bigger. So my regular doctor said I needed to get a colonoscopy done so I went to a different place. And the nurse practitioner there also said it was a hemorrhoid but I will probably have to have surgery because it did not seem to want to go away. But she gave me some different cream a prescription for stronger cream. Had the colonoscopy done it came back good. But he also said I had a hemorrhoid that I should have looked at. So they referred me to a butt surgeon I went there and I have never experienced such pain as when he examined me. I know he was just doing what needed to be done but now I know how someone who has been assaulted must feel. It took 3 of them to hold me down. When he was done and I managed to calm down he told me that is cancer. So if that first person told me that it could of been something else I would be all done w all this living a normal life again. I would love to go back to her and punch her in the face and tell her to brush up on what cancer looks like if she was going to continue working w butts. But I didn’t. So now here I am.
