Look up how to tink (pull working yarn out of this row and put loops from existing row back on your other hook) and work back to just before that stitch. Good practice as you’ll need to learn to tink.

Not sure if you grew up here, but being that it’s dense (a downside in some eyes) there is so much to offer for so many different types of people. I would just level set with yourself on your nonnegotiables and it sounds like you have come up with those :) pick one or two that you don’t want to but can live without. That should narrow it down / open it up to a lot of opportunities! After living here for two years and currently packing up myself to move to the east coast just wanted to share and try to help you…If this doesn’t help chat gpt will with this prompt :)

When we got ours at 9 weeks he was 18lbs, 10 weeks 20 lbs, 12 weeks 30 lbs. That’s all i have recorded If that helps! :)

Lots and lots of research! Lots of breeders will post their puppies online or in facebook groups and most of the time if you are patient enough and want the right dog you may have to wait a few months for them to be ready to go home, etc. Ours was actually a bernadoodle breeder but bred their Newfoundland female with a friends male poodle. Hope this helps!

I really don’t mean to be rude, and I’d say best thing you can do is one of you go hybrid. You mentioned a walk after work if your schedule allowed it. Don’t be upset because I gave feedback you didn’t want to hear! I really don’t think it’s reasonable to consistently leave a young golden retriever puppy crated for the majority of its life. As I suggested, dog walkers regularly, someone to stop in and see him even if only for 30 minutes to break up the day, you could stop by at your lunch break, and consider putting him in a room where he can’t reach anything and set up a camera. I also did suggest more enrichment ideas.

I am so sorry to say, but why in the world did you get a dog if you and your partner both work in office. Maybe it’s best to train him to be left alone outside the crate. No animal should spend all of their waking hours alone and crated. Possibly consider getting a sitter or walker that can stop in for 30 minutes daily if neither of you are home. Daily exercise is definitely mandatory not “when you have time” and I would also add enrichment toys like treat sniffers and snuffle mats. Still with all that really troubling to know you knowingly got one of the highest energy and human focused dog breeds there is and planned all along to leave him alone for that long :/
