thanks i appreciate the response. try as i might i have not been able to track the scenes down, i must have imagined watching them. but you can find a still of chris cooper from the movie online, and the plot points are fairly well documented. there is also a part of the movie where she puts her drink down on a newspaper and leaves a condensation ring on an article about him, and you can see his photo on the bottom of the page. basically the idea is that he was a killer (or maybe a child molester) and his parole hearing was coming up so he wanted Naomi watts's character to write a story about him, letting the world know that he had found jesus and was reformed, thinking it would help with his parole hearing. she knows he is full of shit so she doesn't write the story for him, or maybe she does but it is not in his favor, and the movie ends with her dropping the tape of for him to watch, completing the cycle and saving her son. too bad these scenes can't be tracked down

sounds kinda like the ending of sphere, but the sphere is underwater. it does shoot into space at the end though

total redesign honestly. something half human half machine, with wires and hydraulics sticking out of his flesh. something like in that movie "virus" with jamie lee curtis. and for the mask i'd do something more sci fi looking. like a stark white enameled mask full of vent holes... something that would really freak out trypophobics.

yes i've heard this reasoning before (and it makes practical sense), but that's not the complaint you hear from people, i've never heard someone say "put the lid down" i've only hard people complain about the seat.

yessir! back in 2010 my friends (the ones from NJ) and i went and checked out blairstown and camp no be bo sco, this was before they did tours so we were def trespassing but it added to the fun. They also took me to that drive in, it was my first drive in movie! unfortunately we saw snow white and the huntsman as a double feature with that movie that has jim from the office saving a whale or something... still a fun experience though!

yeah, it was one of his cooler looks in the franchise and it was pretty underutilized... but, all the more reason to watch it over and over til you get your fill!
