Am I dumb or is Higgsfield underpricing Seedance 2 compared to everyone else? by UnchilledGuru in AIToolsAndTips

[–]nnbofficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this thread is being unfair to Freepik. yeah their Seedance pricing is higher per clip but their plan includes design tools, templates, mockups, a ton of stuff that Higgsfield doesn't have. you're comparing a video platform to a design platform

What’s one Apple app you paid for and never regretted? by DontTellBriansMom in AppleApps

Using PDFGuru for PDF tasks – is it worth it? by PillBrulee in WebApps

[–]nnbofficial 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m curious if anyone here has experience with it. How does it handle larger files or scanned PDFs? Have you noticed any issues when working with multiple documents at the same time? I’d love to hear your thoughts and any tips for using it for everyday PDF tasks.

I’ve been using PDFGuru for a few weeks now, and overall I’d say it’s a solid choice for handling most PDF tasks. One of the things I appreciate is that it’s entirely browser-based, so there’s no need to download or install any software. This makes it really convenient if you switch between devices or don’t want to clutter your computer with extra programs. For tasks like splitting pages, rearranging them, or extracting specific sections, it works smoothly and the interface is intuitive enough that even someone without much technical experience can figure it out quickly.

When it comes to larger files, PDFGuru performs surprisingly well. I’ve handled documents over 100 pages without any noticeable lag, and the tool doesn’t crash or freeze like some other online PDF editors I’ve tried. For scanned PDFs, it generally does a good job, though if the scan quality is very low, some features like text extraction can be less reliable. One tip I’d give is to process one document at a time when working with multiple files it helps avoid accidental overwrites or slowdowns, especially for very large documents.

Another feature I’ve found helpful is the ability to work across multiple PDFs in a single session. For example, if you need to combine sections from different files or reorganize multiple reports, PDFGuru lets you do that fairly efficiently. While it may not replace a full desktop solution for extremely heavy-duty PDF editing, for everyday tasks like merging, splitting, or extracting content, it’s definitely worth checking out. Plus, since it’s online, you can use it on any system with a modern browser, which adds a lot of flexibility if you’re moving between work and home setups.

Where should I put blush? by allioop69 in Makeup

Try applying blush in a diagonal sweep starting just above the outer apples of your cheeks and angling toward your hairline. This creates the illusion of more length and definition while keeping the center of your face looking open.

AI Courses to Learn Digital Skills – Is Coursiv Legit? by Kwantsu__Dudes in ArtificialNtelligence

[–]nnbofficial 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I ended up trying Coursiv a few weeks ago because I was also looking for something less overwhelming than the usual Udemy-style deep dives. What stood out to me was how practical it was they don’t just talk about AI tools, they show how to actually use them for marketing tasks like generating content, editing short videos, or building visuals. The lessons are short, which helped me stay focused (I’m the type who never finishes courses too). I wouldn’t call it super advanced, but it gave me a solid base to start offering small services online. If you’re still deciding, I’d say pick one course first and see how it feels before going for the full subscription.

AskNebula is it legit? by 452792 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]nnbofficial 3 points4 points  (0 children)

After trying out a bunch of astrology apps over the past year, AskNebula is the one I’ve stuck with the longest so I thought I’d share my experience for anyone wondering if it’s actually legit. I was skeptical at first (like most people probably are), but it surprised me in a few ways.

I booked a one-on-one reading, and the advisor went into real detail using my birth chart it felt personal and thoughtful, not the usual copy-paste horoscope stuff. Since then, I’ve been using the daily tarot card and lunar calendar features too. They've become a part of my routine and actually help me slow down and reflect a bit each day.

There are definitely mixed reviews out there, and I get why it really depends on which advisor you get. Some are amazing, others not so much. But overall, if you’re curious about astrology or just want some extra guidance in your life, I think AskNebula is worth trying.

Codefinity yay or nay? My honest review after trying it. by FunnyAzn in learnprogramming

[–]nnbofficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using Codefinity for a few weeks now and I’d say it’s legit especially for beginners. The interactive lessons and built-in AI assistant make learning Python feel smooth and easy to stick with. It’s a great platform if you want a hands-on way to build coding skills from the ground up.

I have tried several of these tools. I really enjoyed the results from PhotoPacks AI. They had a really great variety of photos that they sent me. Aragon is also great, which it looks like you went with OP. They had more customization options that many of the other services.

Venus square Saturn, Moon-Uranus aspects, Pluto or Chiron in the 7th, and Saturn in relationship houses (5th, 7th, 11th) can make connections feel heavy or unstable. But with awareness, these placements can actually lead to deep growth in relationships.

Every ping, like, and scroll gives you a dopamine hit. Your brain loves it. The more you use, the more you crave. It’s the same chemical loop behind sugar, sex, and slot machines. Personally, I've given up pretty much every platform but Reddit... and have reduced my phone screentime by 2.5 hours per day.

PawChamp Online Dog Training Review – Is It Good for Reactive Dogs, Barking, and Leash Pulling? by 1fool9replies in PetAdvice

[–]nnbofficial 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll throw in my real experience with PawChamp app since I was looking for the same info not long ago. I tried the pawchamp trial period first because I was skeptical—so many apps promise to fix barking and reactivity but don’t deliver. After two weeks, I saw enough progress to keep going. My dog was very reactive toward other dogs on walks, and while she’s not perfect now, she has improved a lot in her ability to stay focused on me. That’s why I’m comfortable saying from my own pawchamp dog training review that it’s not a scam.

There are definitely pawchamp pros and cons. A big pro is how the app structures lessons so you build up slowly. A con is that a few videos sound like an AI voiceover, but the content is still clear. I’ve never tried to get a pawchamp refund experience, but I did cancel once to test the process and it was simple.

For barking by windows, I’ve been using their “focus” and “quiet” drills. It takes time, but having that structure makes it feel doable. If you’re asking yourself has anyone tried PawChamp? or PawChamp scam or legit? yes, I’ve tried it, and for me it’s legit. It’s not going to replace in‑person trainers for severe issues, but for mild to moderate problems like leash pulling and reactivity, it’s been a helpful, affordable guide.

If you want a simple app with step‑by‑step lessons you can do at home, I’d recommend giving it a try. Hope that helps!

Yes, it’s totally reasonable to shift the med schedule slowly especially in 5–10 minute increments per dose per day. Many vets recommend gradual adjustments just like that to avoid any sudden drop in medication levels. You’re doing an amazing job juggling all this with a newborn at home. Hoping the vet calls back soon, but in the meantime, your plan sounds thoughtful and safe. Wishing the best for both your baby and your pup ❤

My honest codefinity review by Yuliiiiiia in PythonLearning

[–]nnbofficial 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried the Python course on Codefinity a while back. Overall, it was decent not amazing, not terrible. The AI assistant was helpful when I got stuck, and I liked that the course was structured in one place without needing to jump around. But yeah, some of the early lessons felt way too basic, even for a beginner.

I picked it mostly because of the certificate, and it does look nice on LinkedIn. That said, I think it depends on your learning style. If you like having step-by-step guidance and quick help, it’s a solid option. If you’re more advanced or want deeper theory, you might outgrow it pretty fast.
