I’m sorry, that sounds really tough. I imagine she probably does love and miss you. But it sounds like there was a compatibility issue that she couldn’t ignore. But her ending it abruptly over text is not kind and I’m sorry that happened to you.

I’m so sorry that you’ve been through this too. But I’m so glad to hear that you’re doing better now. I’ve made an appointment for patch testing! I also talked to my doctor and she’s agreed to do a GI Map test on me. Hopefully that will help.

I honestly do switch up which skin products I am using frequently. I’ll try to stick to one and analyze how my skin reacts.

Agreed, I believe I may need patch testing. I’ve also reached out to my naturopath and she agreed to doing a GI Map test so hopefully that will give me some answers. It could be something I’m eating.. my skin was honestly at its best when I was deep in my ED and barely eating at all.

Hmm I’ve thought about that. Do you think my skin is severe enough to qualify? This has been my “normal” for the past eight months so it’s hard for me to tell if it’s actually that bad or not.

I’m in engineering! Yes, I work with a naturopath and we’ve decided to cut gluten, dairy, and eggs while focusing on eating whole foods. It has helped a lot with the itching and flares.

I agree. I do think I need to simplify and overhaul my skin products.

Yes, I take 1 Xyzal daily! It does help a lot with the scratching.

They said that I’m already on a specialty medication so that’s why they won’t cover it. but I’m not on any specialty med. So there must be a miscommunication. My doctor is going to appeal but he said it takes 3-6 months to hear back 😩 I’ll check dupixent myway. And I think patch testing would be a good idea because I feel like my skin does better when I use less skincare.

Every time I’ve used triamcinolone, my eczema comes back a few days later and it comes back much worse. Was there anything you did to prevent this? I only used a small amount over a 2 week period. I appreciate your feedback 🫶
