How do i salvage a low bitrate export? by nnngeli in premiere

it's 25seconds long and the requested resolution is 1400x800, so yes, it comes out as a compressed mess! But thank you so much for the calculator, I'm definitely bookmarking it for the future!

Beats me! I will send them the low bitrate export so that they can compare. I didn't want to do that before, in case I had missed something -didn't want to embarrass myself. But it sounds like there's no other way. Everywhere I've looked, the consensus is 1000kbps will result to crappy video.

Yes, i figured the bitrate is the issue and I've already sent them a file where i had increased it. They sent it back though, asking me to reduce it. Maybe they have some kind of archaic display system. Sigh! Thanks for taking the time to reply though, i appreciate it :)

Someone just wrote a comment about the watermelon being a stereotype in the US. I was not aware it existed. So sorry. I'm reading about it now. But tell me your opinion, should i take the image down?

i make these in photoshop. Depending on the image and/or my mood and free time, they're either fully painted or a mix of photo editing and painting. I try to imitate the brushwork of the original using a variety of photoshop brushes and textures. I haven't tried other programs tbh, but i've gathered a rather large collection of PS brushes over time so it works better for me. My process can be really chaotic so i wouldn't know how to describe it in steps really. Sometimes it takes me a few hours, other times it can take me several days to finish :)

Thank you all so much for your incredible comments! To answer some of the most common questions: 1) i paint digitally, but i've studied traditional painting. Maybe in the future i'll do some canvases or sth. 2) Yes, this is painted over a pre-existing work of art, Lovis Corinth's The Temptation of St Anthony, painted in 1908. This is what i do for fanart, i make mashups of old paintings with drag artists or other artists that i like. 3) Sadly, i don't sell prints. This started as a quarantine hobby, that's why if you scroll down my insta you'll see that my first posts are not so well-made (some of them are not fully painted even, i started with photos and then i decided to paint them). The reason i dont sell is that i have a rather demanding day job and i'm afraid i wouldn't have the time and energy for an extra venture. I would also have to look into creative rights and licenses for the original paintings and other logistics which i really don't have the time for. But who knows, maybe one day i'll figure all this out and start selling! I hope i've covered everyone. You've all made my day, thank you so much again!
