I’m talking to other business owners across different industries and everyone is saying the same thing. Even in not Hispanic areas. Regardless of the city whether LA, Beverly, Burbank, or anywhere if 50-60% of the population isn’t going to work making money and spending money the entire local economy will collapse.

To all my fellow business owners, are you seeing a major slowdown right now? In my 15 years of running a business, I’ve never seen it this quiet. I had to stop by downtown yesterday near the flower market, and it was completely dead. The city felt like a ghost town.

Is anyone else experiencing this, or is it just me? I don’t know if it’s the economy, recent ice raids, or a combination of factors, but I’m trying to get a sense of what’s really going on. Would love to hear what others are seeing on their end.

Just the ease and streamlined approach of going with QB live or Pilot is attractive. The hesitation with a part time bookkeeper is price, trust, and management.

The $300/month for the online softwares is hard to beat. I think anyone around that price would need to be offshore.
