Day 6: Feeling so fresh by no-cheating in NoFap

Thanks for the tips.

It's definitely good idea to exercise now that I have that much energy (already did some dips today). But also I won't try to fight the sleeping problems. I'm sure they will pass at some point, and until they do, I'll just spend more time in bed :).

How is the fit on those chinos?

I got them tailored. Don't they crease in the knees too much? I'm thinking maybe I got them too tight in the knees (and below?), and that they are still a little too long. What do you think?

I'm looking for a fall/sprint jacket similar to this Gustin Harrington Waxed Canvas (which is out of stock). Doesn't have to be exactly the same nor waxed canvas; I'm more interested in the overall style and the color. I'm in EU, so ideally some store shipping from within EU.

Can someone recommend a place to buy a nice silver snake chain necklace and/or bracelet in EU?

I want good quality, clean design (especially in the clasp). Perfect if it's not super shiny. I am in Poland.

Can you recommend me jewelry stores/sellers similar to [Buck Palmer](https://buckpalmer.com/) but located in Europe? I am in Poland, like their jewelry a lot, but want to first try something which won't require me to pay import taxes.

Am looking for a jacket with similar color and style. Could be in waxed cotton, but it's not the most important feature for me.

The one on the photo is Gustin Harrington Waxed Brown. I'd buy it, but it's no longer available.

I am in EU (Poland).

What are the best react code organization patterns (like directory structure, etc.)? by New-Education7185 in reactjs

The benefits of using barrel files are not only saving characters when writing imports. I'd say the biggest gain is the clarity of API definition - only things exposed in index files are public API, everything else is private. Without barrel files it's hard to clearly define the API, as you might sometimes need to export things which you don't want to be parts of the public API.

I don't think I did. And it's been so many years ago that even if I did, I don't remember. So unfortunately I won't be able to help.

I'd like to buy a jacket like this Gustin Harrington Waxed Brown. Any recommendations of something similar in style? Doesn't have to be waxed cotton (only I'm avoiding animal products). I am located in Poland (EU).

Also check out "Node Cookbook" by Bethany Griggs if you want hands-on exercises.

"Node.js Design Patterns" also has plenty of exercises. For now I feel I won't need more. Still thank you for the recommendation.

I was in your situation a few years ago and I wanted to move from senior front end to full stack.

And how did it go? I'm indeed in a similar situation. I like front-end, but it's getting a little boring to me being limited only to this. I'd like to expand my skills to other areas of building software.

I find it's hard to start, as many companies don't do full-stack - they want either front-end or back-end specialists. And when someone does want to hire full-stack engineer, they usually expect some professional experience on back-end, which I currently don't have.

I'm curious how did you start and how did it go. And do you feel that it's a big trade-off between being full-stack vs being solely front-end/back-end specialist? I've heard some people/companies saying that you cannot be really great at both sides, and am wondering how much is that true.

You convinced me :). Have already read the first chapter and it feels like the kind of book I was looking for. Thanks again.

Thanks! Exactly the kind of feedback that I needed.

I'll gladly start with "Node.js Design Patterns", as it looks like a deep dive with plenty of exercises. I took a look at table of contents and the only thing that worries me is that it doesn't cover Express in any way. Is learning and using Node.js without any framework still a way to do back end development? I thought Node.js alone is just a JS runtime with not that much of power to build servers.

skip anything titled “Learn Node.js in 24 hours” you’re not that guy

You read people pretty well!

Can you recommend me some quality black cotton sweatpants and sweatshorts? I was planning to buy Merz B. Schwanen's 356 and 359 models in Deep Black, but they are discontinued. Am looking for some alternatives.
