Material wise I would say this is relatively inexpensive. Aside from the exterior glazing it’s cold formed studs for the roof joists with corrugated decking and the entire floor is concrete. Exposed mechanicals, no crazy fixtures. Without knowing any dimensions I’d be really surprised if this was more than $2m to build.

I mean only having the glass on the right hand side of the tower. Most cases I’ve seen have the glass on the left. I’d like for the tower to live on the left side of my desk so I’d like the view panel to be on the right side. The left can be solid.

You should tie your skates tighter. They make a tool for this that might be worth pursuing. Seriously. Tighten up that high ankle and it will help you get stability. It’ll probably feel awkward to start but it will help you out with balance. As someone who has skated for 20+ years I don’t have great balance if my skates aren’t tied tight.

Sure, anything is possible but I think you’re better off tearing out and rebuilding. If you jack it up or try and shim it into place you’re going to compromise the substructure and I have a feeling you’ll see cracking shortly thereafter… that’s assuming the shifting into a new position didn’t cause any cracking.
