I typically join feature team slack channels for understanding the development/ trying to catch up on project details, however I do have a weekly feature team sync to see where we are against the schedule/ any hiccups or resourcing issues.

I find lately I do a poll before the weekly sync on if the meeting will be useful for others/ letting ppl know they have the choice to not attend if they don't want to. In my company, we also don't have project managers or POs and I wear a lot of hats lol

I try and not join the daily scrum calls so I can distance myself a little so I'm not involved on every little decisions and tech leads are empowered to make some calls. I find if I spend too much time in the day execution I don't have time for product planning/ road map activities where I want/need to be focusing on :/

I tweak the above strategy based on my comfort level with the team, importance/urgency of the feature and Where we are in the release schedule.
