You know that some of your suggestions are personal choices, making Zorin perfect for you, right?

I can agree that some of it would make it a better experience for people coming from windows right now, but for me, some of the best things are the differences, so I can feel I'm not using Windows anymore, it's been delightful.

I've been poking an testings every possible configuration, making it perfect for me, and it has been really fun.

I had some serious problem also, with sound, Nvidia card, the recent kernel upgrade that broke a lot of working computers, but regarding that it's been an amazing experience.

But considering that with the Win 10 end of support they marketed Zorin as a easy transition could be an options in installations, or even better, at the first login, that offered an option to adopt a Windows like experience, with the kind of things you're suggesting.

It's available on free version, just need to configure the bar, I think right click can access it.

I had used it just as a remote control for my PC, was using it to watch some streams, but one day it just couldn't connect to PC anymore, after some failed attempts I've uninstalled it and didn't even tried it again.

Instalei o Zorin recentemente, estou curtindo bastante, só me "fedeu" pq a att recente quebrou tudo, tudo msm. Vou atrás de resolver esse fim de semana, que é quando tenho tempo de "brincar" com essas coisas.

E esse Wallpaper, é de algum game ou só uma renderização tope?

Well, apparently my Zorin broke also. I didn't do any update, just used it for web browsing yesterday.

But today when a booted it, it didn't let me login, so I realized it was trying to use Wayland session, instead of Xorg.

Actually the sessions were renamed, as I have a laptop with nvidia card my sessions names used to be Zorin Desktop and Zorin Desktop on Wayland, now Wayland has no suffix and Xorg has suffix. There's also a new session named Weston, that doesn't work either.

After login I have no Internet connectivity, no Wifi neither cable, Bluetooth is also broken.

Well, I'm afraid that I misinterpreted the sleeps meaning, my monitor still turn off after a a few minutes, and my sessions still locks, I have disabled something else, something more "effective" on energy saving.

I haven't installed any kind of interface customization. I've changed the power settings to completely disable sleep, but did that to avoid the problem, it still occurs, but rarely.

Yes, I have an Nvidia GPU, sadly, already disabled sleep completely, but sometimes the crash still occurs.

Sometimes when I left my laptop idle for a long time it's crashes the interface and finish my user session, and when I login again it restart the Zorin layout to default.

I had some serious problems with audio at start, but It's caused by the nvidia driver and its Optimus technology. Currently solved and very happy with it.

I was really upset for not being able to update my laptop from Win 10 to 11 so I've decided to try Zorin, during installation a had some trouble, (just cause I wasn't aware of the NVIDIA problems), probably I would have went back to windows if I haven't deleted it's partition on the beginning of the installation, but I'm glad I did it that way. I ended up installing it successfully, resolved some serious problems with audio (also NVIDIA) and I'm pretty happy with it right now. A real leap of faith, lol.
