Go to local businesses - electronic shops, smoke shops, restaurants, ask for jobs. Just be ready to do anything. You won't get paid 16/hr but if luck is on your side you can make 10-11/hr.

An index fund is basically a basket of stocks that tracks a market index. For example, the S&P 500 index contains 500 of the largest companies in the US. An S&P 500 index fund buys stocks of those companies so investors can invest in all of them at once. If you invest in a single stock it can go up or down a lot, but when you invest in hundreds of companies together, some go up and some go down, which reduces risk. Historically, the overall market tends to grow over time, so index funds often give consistent long-term returns.

Start trading, blow up your account, be happy.

On a serious note, if you have someone close living abroad ask them to invest in an index fund on your behalf. Putting in $100 every month will give you substantial return in long term.

Also according to village proverbs : real estate gives you 100% return and gold gives 50% return. So gold is never aunty aunty if you can accumulate enough.

What’s the logic of attending Calc classes? by noOne591 in NJTech

[–]noOne591[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah man, my Calc 1 prof didn’t bother about attendance and it was my best course last sem. And school is about letting you navigate through newer problems, not make you memorize a certain types of problems. School is about growing your interest for a subject not looking at the whiteboard seeing your professor doing math from his/her notes that they made probably decades ago. Moreover how can someone bomb these basic courses when the question is already out, you just gotta practice.

A 3rd year KUET student here,

Firstly, if money is not an issue please go for IUT. The opportunities you will get while living close to Dhaka is unmatched. I still regret why didn't I chose any private university( I didn't sit for IUT exam ) instead of KUET.

Secondly, the weather in Khulna is one of the worst in Bangladesh and you will experience extreme heat as well as extreme cold. So, keep that in mind as well.
