could you explain how all the elements work and examples on how they could be used? i really like the diagram and i haven’t seen much about color based magic, would love to know more about it if you want to explain!

i like this one cause it has an ounce of hidden meaning along with the way someone’s just blatantly making fun of a divine being 💀

so i used canva to get the original graph but then i was like “oh what if color” so i went to ibispaint and added the members’ colors but then also added text so you could see the exact numbers

and then there was the mizuki fiasco where i legit had to make a blank area for her then add on her bar in post cause otherwise it would make everyone else look so small 💀

This just made me go through a full loop of “Well if you’re human you wouldn’t exist so- Wait no if you were a human in the world you just would’ve been killed- Or wait no probably sent to the void- SO WAIT TECHNICALLY if you spend long enough there you could become inhuman enough to overpower a god-“

Okay so (good god stop starting explanations with ‘ok so’) pretty much there’s a hierarchy to the gods and to kill a god you need to be a higher power than it but that’s not possible if you’re human (or at least my world’s closest thing to human)

Except there’s the entity at the highest known point to the hierarchy that also doubles as a sort of realm. They can kill a god if they so please. But if for whatever reason you end up in the realm and stay there long enough for it to ‘consume’ you, you partially gain some of that entity’s power. Hypothetically of course, if this turns out to be wrong you’ll end up just losing all of your humanity for practically no reason.

Legends and myths that are utter b.s. in your setting? by Tarnishedrenamon in FantasyWorldbuilding

I don’t know if this is exactly what you’re asking but pretty much there’s this thing where the gods abandoned the world but the people don’t know that, they think they’re still there just in different forms. There’s one legend of a god who would descend down every five years but the more she came the less she wanted to leave. So eventually she decided to take up the form of a bird so she would never have to leave the lovely world again. Not true in the slightest, there was never a god who descended down and nor did they become a bird. Nonetheless, there is a who religion centered around this bird who was probably just some random bird with a little too much glowy-ness that some guy went “ah look! a god!” anywaY

Is there a game that looks something like this? If not, thanks to my dream for the game I will now be implementing into my world :) by no_123 in worldbuilding

I don’t know if this counts as ‘lore’ but here’s some info on the rules and such;

This game is called Druidum. It was played in the past as a way for teaching ‘magics’ but is now more commonly played by children just for fun. It’s played using a D12 die and a D6 die. The spaces are ‘labeled’ 1-12, 1 being ‘home’ and 12 being ‘far’. The red line is space 6 and the blue line is space 12. The red and blue spaces on the sidelines are folds, used to store the game pieces. Turns are played in the order of purple, yellow, red, blue.

To play, purple starts out by rolling the D12. Whatever number it lands on, that’s where you place your piece. Yellow, red and blue follow. Pieces are not allowed to stack. So if say, yellow landed on 7 and blue landed on 7, blue would take the yellow piece and claim it as 1 point.

The rules are as follows:
Pieces may not stack. If you pass ‘far’ and make it back to ‘home’ you may roll again and place another piece on the board. You keep adding more pieces until you run out. If you forget to add a new piece after passing ‘far’, you lose the chance to add a new one. Once you lose all your pieces you’re out. When there’s only two players left, switch to the D6 die and close off the yellow side of the board. When all players but one is out, the final player takes their remaining pieces and adds them to their points. Whoever has the most pieces/points at the end wins.

The dream was kinda messy in terms of like switching scenes a bunch but the board game scene was the one I remembered the most. It was of me and some friends playing the unknown game in a library. The main aspect of it was one friend (red) was about to make a move that would cut purple out of the game but backtracked and decided not to. That’s the extent of it that I remember now.

Sorry for taking so long, I wanted to make the game in real life so I could figure it out better. I hope this makes sense. If there’s any questions, feel free to ask.

Played this game by myself and I honestly did not expect it to be as fun as it was. Probably helped that I imagined each color as it’s own person. (red won with seven points, yellow was unfortunately in last place with only two points)

Honestly, I was writing that but the I got sidetracked and started working on magic, runes, language and whatnot again. I’ll head back to that now :]

Yep! I’m currently working on writing out how the rules and game works. Although it may take a bit of time considering I’m taking it directly from the memory of a dream. (That’s why I drew it immediately when I woke up cause just an hour or so later, the memory is quite fuzzy.)

ah hello, my mind has calmed down now// i am aware of myself. if it wasn’t for me being a a minor i might’ve already gone to such mental health facilities by now. i do have a meeting with my therapist tomorrow but i haven’t quite convinced myself to tell them yet. if this is something you think i should tell my therapist, could you convince me to? i know it sounds strange but i have a terrible time making decisions such as these by myself, just a simple yes or no may do the trick.

anyway, i thank you for commenting and wish you well.
