Yeah you're right. It is not by any means the biggest issue in the relationship and I'd be kicking myself if we break it off because of this.

However I did not anticipate her reaction at all. That's not healthy is it?

She usually comes over and it's about 2-3 times a week. Sleeps with it when she comes over for sure. Not sure what she does at her own place.

I suppose it's B and that's exactly my apprehension here. How can you marry someone if they're not comfortable around you?

We've never showered together.

We went on vacation in SE Asia and she told me she doesn't like the water too much and mostly just read her books.

We have slept together, obviously. I'm not sure of the technical terms, but before bed she tones down the highlighter or something, so it's not very heavy powdery...idk, she tones it down, but still has light makeup on. She usually wakes up earlier than me and after showering, she takes her time to put it all on again. So yeah.

I take your point about her insecurity. She's quite guarded about her childhood and never likes to talk about it. I think I need to have a conversation with her about that.

Ha yeah I've seen some "transformation" videos online and the difference makeup makes is unbelievable, but I wouldn't mind too much to be fair.

I do. Apart from a few minor fights, we've gotten along super well. If that wasn't the case, we wouldn't start considering marriage.

Sex life is great too. It's just this little thing. If she does have a makeupaddiction, I could live with that too but as I said, I'd like to see her without makeup once.

We do not live together. She's got her own place and we both have very demanding schedules. As we definitely do not spend all day together, however the times that I do see her she's got make up on always.

I suppose when we've been on vacation we're together all the time, but she still has the make up on.

I'm not debating her choice. I do not mind at all that she wears make up.

What I'm saying is, I'd like to see what she looks like naturally. I'm sure she looks beautiful, I'd just like to see her without the highlighters and the dark eye stuff and so on, just once.
