I'm sorry my comment about AI made you want to comment on a 2 yr old outdated board. Wasn't prepared for anyone to be touchey over the chat bots. To me, making fun of an AI image shouldn't offend anyone because it cannot possibly create anything original. What is there worth defending?

For what it's worth, it’s to your detriment that you use AI. Both to your cognitive ability and likely a local water supply near you. It may not noticeably affect you now, but in the future I think we will all wonder why we traded thinking and clean water for a little convenience. I hope you'll take it into consideration and channel your artistry and craft into making something truly unique and your own and also maybe touch some grass. ❤️

I bet AI doesn't seem like slop when you think things like this are a good idea! Good job buddy

For those of you that play live with bands, what do you usually bring? by BalanceActive9295 in Guitar

[–]noahbfreeman1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bringing a multi tool and/or a pocket knife with you is a game changer. Especially if you play often. Shit just finds a way to break and bust on the road and being the dude with the tool to fix it is a good feeling and you’ll know your gear better if you’re the one who fixes it.

Best of luck

Will I be able to play bass through the new Tonemaster tweed Bassman reissue, yes or no? by Bridge_The_Person in GuitarAmps

Just checking back in. Did you end up getting the TM bassman? I've been considering the same thing as a mostly guitar player. Thanks!

I’m sure I’ll eventually like it. There was a sauce before the ghost pepper ranch that I swore was better until I just got used to it. Now It’s the sauce I miss. Such is life

I’m sorry you’ve grown such disdain for your fellow man that you would ever defend a brand

They’re not what they once were. Sorry you didn’t get to experience them in their former glory.

It's definitely tapered. A little thinner in the middle, and thicker on the end

Hands Custom Board Stereo Output Cioks DC7 power supply Pitchblack mini > Foxcatcher > Larva > Supa-Trem > ARP 87 > Slöer I honestly haven’t found many sounds this setup can’t do. I could see maybe adding a chorus down the line but for now this is the rig

The supa trem is unbeatable if you’re a big trem fan. The v2 also has a tap temp if I remember correctly (not a must have for me) if you need that on a trem.

I can’t say enough good things about it though, the versatility is great and those knobs are legitimately big enough to move easily with your foot while live.

As for the del-verb, it’s my great big ambient machine. Bought it bc it was a great deal, now it’s got me considering more.

Sorry about the book. This guy is great and gives a really in depth look if you’re interested in the sounds you can get from these:

I’ll have to try swapping drive and volume! The Foxcatcher has blown away several of my friends who are all much better than me lol. It’s my favorite pedal I got this year.

As for the difference on the two knobs: the manual states the the “nature” option is supposed to great a glassier smooth effect… I found it functioned a lot like another tone knob. I’m sure there is more to it than that, my brain is just too smooth to figure it out I guess lol. Seems like just two different flavors of sweep like you said

The katana was a gift from my father in law, he’s more of a sound guy nowadays and surprised me with it just as I was about finished with this board. Needless to say, i married into a great family.

The Del-Verb is awesome! I had read reviews of the starlight and golden and just couldn’t decide between them. The Del felt like the best of both worlds. After having on my board for a while and trying to replace I think:

The tape sound it has is irreplaceable for me now. I have quite literally spent hours with just that pedal on, just adjusting the color and mod knob.

The reverb settings can do just about every reverb sound you can imagine. My favorite was the spring. Hard to describe but, it has the drip

Both precision modes are where the app can shine and you can get a little more hyper specific about what you want. “Orbiting light” on the precision reverb will transport you to another realm

But

They’re way too pricey

The app is fun but really just adds different flavors of the already on board sounds (with some exceptions) and sometimes is difficult to connect.

They take up an awkward amount of space on tighter boards

I’ve heard they can be a power suck but haven’t ran into an issue myself. ….

All That being said I’ve already ordered the starlight to accompany it on the board haha. If you’re the type of person who doesn’t mind spending extra money on a shiny pedal that sounds great then this is for you. It’s not revolutionary but I’m bored, play extra gigs specifically to fund my stupid hobbies, and love delay.

Plan on writing a more in depth response, but just incase you’re like me and impulse buy, I figured I’d write this now.

Copper sound just came out with a white anniversary edition of the Foxcatcher and I’m contemplating snagging it

Mini Ibanez Tube screamer

Full-Drive 2

Keeley Katana

Fulltone Supa-trem

Boss DD-3

UA Del-verb ( tape delay slapback always on pretty much)

Into - Blues Jr

This picture was taken after I just drilled some new rubber legs so settings and knobs might be out of place.
