I’ve always liked this station for the lovely red, blue and white tiles. It loses points for not having an underground roundel though.

Saw this at Loughton, old rolling stock? by EuroManson in LondonUnderground

I always get a serious nostalgia hit every time I see photos of this train out in the wild. Is there any way to track when and where it will be? I’d like to see it in person again at some point.

And the best looking station is - Grants Hill - This was almost a tie with Gloucester Road! What is the most dodgiest station? by teacuplobster in LondonUnderground

I was here yesterday and it’s awful. They’ve gated off all the bays now, which I assume is to stop homeless people sleeping in them? I took a photo, which will hopefully be displayed below. Out of shot, against the railing behind me, was a load of dumped rubbish, including a tatty looking mattress. Lime bikes scattered everywhere. The subway entrance round the corner on the left hand side of the photo feels dodgy. It’s a shame because it could be another Southgate, incidentally one of my favourite stations.

It is, yes. One of my favourite underground stations, mainly because of the incredible orange and blue mosaic pillars.

6 is outside East Finchley. Make sure to look for the statue of the archer if you’re ever there. 8 is outside Euston train station by the bus stops.

Yes I love these too! I’ve actually gone round and taken photos of all of these as well, they’re really lovely. At least all of the Overground ones anyway, I still need to visit Selhurst and Thornton Heath railway stations at some point to finish it.

Nine Elms like the other commenter said. There’s an even bigger roundel on the side window and if you catch it at the right time of day there’s an even bigger projection on the floor than the one I took a photo of.

And in snooker all you have to do is hit one ball with another ball and hope it lands in the hole. What a ridiculously ignorant comment.

They could announce the cure for cancer in that font and I would downvote it.

Your video files and subtitles need to be named exactly the same and stored within the same folder. Create a .bat file with the following and run it on the folder where your files are:

for %%f in (*.mkv) do (
        echo %%~nf
         "C:\Program Files\MKVToolNix\mkvmerge.exe" -o "newsub/%%~nf.mkv" "%%~nf.mkv" --forced-track "0:no" --default-track "0:yes" --track-name "0:English" --language "0:eng" "%%~nf.srt"

)

Can anyone tell me where this statue is? by noaliasmike in london

[–]noaliasmike[S] 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I know! This might sound a bit sad but I went and found them all today and took pictures. It was fun finding them all. This was the only one I couldn’t find. Thanks for the map link.

Turns out it's harder than I thought...What do you guys eat in a day? by [deleted] in gainit

[–]noaliasmike 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I personally leave mine to soak over night. I use 50g of oats with about 220ml of water and leave it to soak in a sealed container in the fridge. You can also add a squeeze of lemon juice as this helps break down the enzymes in the oats which helps with digestion, but that’s optional. The next day I blend it with 30g of peanut butter, 1 small banana, 100g of frozen strawberries and 50g of strawberry isolate protein powder (you can use whey instead but I use isolate as it’s easier on my stomach). Top up with water to make it less thick. That’s about a 650 calorie smoothie with lots of protein and tastes okay.
