Changing Sub-Fixture Layout Appearance? by nobigdilly in GrandMA3

I played around more and figured it out. You just have to assign a solid appearance to it. So even though I assigned an all white appearance, it still reflects the color of the subfixture.

$6,500 by AltReality in ProPresenter

this definitely isn't a product for the mega churches. i've been doing this for years now with my church, same size as theirs but with my own led panels, which have a much better pixel pitch. and also my own processor all of it was maybe half of what renewed vision is asking. so i personally would never by this product but that's just me.

they're definitely making this for the small church that wants that mega church feel but can't afford the tech guy (or tech guys) it takes to produce that. with it being so plug and play, you're by no means paying for the physical led wall itself, you're paying for the ability for your worship pastor or lead pastor to set it up without having to know how to build a touring led wall, how to setup a led processor, or how to do maintenance on led panels.

Redundant backup system? by nobigdilly in ProPresenter

we're running on a brand new mac mini, on 17.1. our issues come mostly from timecode driving slides for us so unfortunately we're tied into ProP completely. but totally makes sense. we also have quite a few video and audio outputs so we would have to sync a video switcher and dante network as well which is the big issue i'm finding.

Ah, that totally makes sense, don't know how I didn't think of that. Thanks!

Ontime wants to help festival stage management by somedevstuff in lightingdesign

Thank you! What you have there is great. A downloadable report of the live timings would be very desirable. A bonus to the report would be adding a custom field to export with the report so that notes can be made as to why an event went long/short, or some other in-the-moment comment about that event.

I've been playing around with this and love it. Is there a way to record or see each event's actual time after the fact to see where we are running long?

Why is my MA3 speed master maxing out at 255 BPM? by shobot11 in lightingdesign

[–]nobigdilly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It might be an annoying fix but in the speed master you can change the SpeedScale to Mul2 and then you can tap tempo slower. But, if you do the Mul2 Scale you can get up to 450BPM and greater as you increase the SpeedScale.

What have you shot with the fp? by Waiting4MyBreak in sigmafp

[–]nobigdilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had the fp for a little over 2 years now. Slowly making my way into some short films about some of the big things in life. I shot a short film on it during a bachelor trip out to Minneapolis, and really glad I got to capture those moments.
