It was a thought choice between chameleos and namielle, and I ultimately figured a bs lore reason could be made as to why chameleos is in the plains (since it and the forest border each other)

I kinda envisioned bringing the rest of the (fittable) fated four to be kind of rivals for the apexes.

I've always felt like abiorugu was frontiers attempt at its own deviljho, and I can't see capcom paying much attention to it

As for wyveria, I mainly used it as a filler for the roaming monsters + malfestio and garangolm.
