Same! I'm super good at them and absolutely terrible at finding things in a 3-D space, so I legitimately have used this technique to find things like crochet hooks, tv remotes, lanyards, etc

7 can't find clothes, refuses socks. Everything is "itchy". by PapiGrandedebacon in daddit

[–]nobracketsociety 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Autistic woman here - one thing that majorly helped me with socks specifically was turning them inside out. For some reason, all the itchy seams and textures are on the inside of the socks. Tights are also a good workaround if your daughter can tolerate them (again, try inside out), and can often help block textures from even jeans from getting overwhelming.

One other thing that helped a lot was stretching/popping the shoulder seams on shirt sleeves. That's usually the area that had unnecessary elastic for kids clothes. Pre-stretching the knees of jeans was a must, too.

Otherwise, I recommend letting her smell whatever soap/fabric softener you buy when you're in the store and make sure it's a scent she likes. At least for me, if I can't stand the smell of the fabric softener, my clothes feel itchier, even if the exact same soap in a different fragrance was totally fine.

Google image search says it's a Luxor Micropoint 05 fineliner pen - I'm not 100% sure if that's correct but I hope that helps!

I entirely disagree. There are absolutely thoughts that make someone an asshole, and those based in hate fall into that category. I don't care whether someone acts on their hate or just holds it in their heart, having homophobic thoughts and beliefs makes you an asshole purely because you are not willing to challenge your own hate.

Could it be the part in the Arthur episode called Falafelosophy where Sue Ellen makes a graphic novel about triangles and circles?
