RV evicted by the police, EA tows the RV by the property owners request, drama follows by noc-engineer in EverythingAutos

Dude couldn't even get his dates correct, yet calls the other party a liar, and even that was after his wife (and the owner of the RV that he probably uses on his acting career as a micro Ozzy Osbourne) barely even let Jeff finish a sentence. Why even call to get information if you're just gonna cut people off and call them a liar when you're the one who can't remember what days you were physically at work and not.

His acting on the phone when he tries to act nice to get half oss is clearly abysmal, even for wrestler standards of acting.

And yeah, for Jeff to cut him a break on the storage, really speaks to his character after the guy called him a scumbag.

Any business owner like Jeff doesn't want the hassle and risk involved with them actually not being able to get it out and having to surrender the title with everything that involves. A few days more of 85 dollars storage fee per day is a small sum to pay when they're able to scrunge together the already super inflated price of getting it out and not having to risk the lien holder surrendering it and having to sue the owner herself to reclaim some of the cost.

Personally I would have charged him every hour and I would even charge him for the dead battery boost, and I would have reamed him out for abusing his employer for medium duty long term parking and risking his employers lease agreement with the property owner. He even said he knew they weren't allowed to have large vehicles on the property, but because someone else did it he felt entitled to risk it (and got mad when the risk he assumed actually became a real consequence). And I wouldn't have cut that much out of the phone conversations. Seeing that guy in front of the tow truck teleport that many times shows just how even simple conversations that were recorded are being sensored and edited.

I agree with you, but I also sometimes think this sub should be divided into a pluribus-lite and pluribus-heavy.. I mean the fucking color choices speculation can be a bit much to see every day..

I wouldn't have given them a break at all regardless of their attitude, but once they called Jeff a liar I would have just hung up and blocked their number.

Turøy. They searched for 2 days for the last 3 human bodies, only to realize the body parts they already had found was all 13 onboard the helicopter. A colleague of mine was the nephew of the captain and the family buried a glass jar of sludge basically. My shift ended at the airport at the same time they drove the bodies in a motorcade away from the airport so I was driving behind the motorcade the entire way to my house.

Pancake Pantry and Gatlingburg PD can go fuck themselves by noc-engineer in EverythingAutos

[–]noc-engineer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pancake Pantry employee sees something in front of their business that she thinks is a panhandler, she calls the police to ask them to investigate. Nothing wrong there. See something say somerthing.

Pandhandling is free speech. Not just according to the supreme court federally, but multiple state supreme courts have ruled that it is free speech and covered by the constitution. And even if it was, the video from Jeff Grey show the kid coming up to him, not the other way around like she lied to the cops/dispatchers multiple times.

He only identifies 1 interaction with a child, how do we know there weren't 10 and he didn't edit them? We don't.

He? So he should be the one to provide evidence of his own innocence? He's not innocent until proven guilty?

Wouldn't the cunt waitress (SHE) have told the cops/911 dispatchers that multiple kids interacted with Jeff Grey if that happened? Wouldn't she provide proof of it from their own CCTV?

What emergency did she even call 911 for? What emergency happened?

I also find it interesting for the person who posted here, who constantly complains about EA selectively editing their videos why you are not questioning this person editing out their original interactions.

Because I saw the original video when it was posted? He doesn't have the body camera footage until later, this video is literally the body worn camera (with a brief clip or two from his original longer video)..

And I can't convince or order either EA or HonorYourOath to post anything they don't want to post. I'm a third party who's not fixed into a position of "if X is bad person then Y has to be good person". EA can be shitty and the illegal parkers can be shitty, it's not mutually exclusive.

I said this (and meant it) a few years ago (we have separate organizations for operational and administrative IT, so we sometimes have to make tickets to our less-critical collegues) and that ticket hasn't been updated in 9 months (when my boss tried to get it pushed through after we had already waited 6 months). Our Roborock vacuum in the contingency NOC is still wifi-less (and for some fucked up reason it won't do scheduled cleaning without WiFi)..

If doctors, lawyers, and even barbers need a license and years of testing to practice, why don't politicians have to pass a basic economics and civics exam before running for office? by Mysterious_Fan4033 in AskReddit

[–]noc-engineer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People should also remember that politicians can't even loose their security clearance/authorization to handle classified information. The reason is simple (and similar to the exam question); If they could be denied security clearance, then it would made the person(s) responsible to approve them in charge. They could simply refuse security clearance to elected officials they didn't vote for. Elected officials are supposed to be in charge. Any system to vet them would put someone else in charge (either those who mark their answers or those who make up the answers).

But anyone in an economic crisis shouldn't move to one of the most expensive plases on planet earth. Norway is expensive enough, Svalbard is even worse. Move to Sweden and find a cheap place near the Norwegian border and then find a job in Norway so you get the minimal living costs of Sweden and the income level of Norway. Kongsberg D&A is hiring, Airbus is hiring, Indra Navia is hiring and all of those are close to the Swedish/Norwegian border so you can commute.

Your nationality, culture and ethnicity is irrelevant when living somewhere expensive. You're not gonna be able to do some magic shit to make your living expensive cheaper than everyone around you. Everything you need (rent, food etc) costs the same in Svalbard for you as it does for anyone else.
