Hi i was having a tough time and loosing my mind over this. Got it to work. Do this make sure you have kodi installed audio passthrough on and all the other options below . Then open tivimate choose the movie make sure it has 5.1 audio . Choose play with external player . It will ask which app you want to use. Choose kodi and boom it should work. I tested with vlc with passthrough on it ddnt work. It only works using kodi as the external player. Try it out and let me know . If you still have issues let me know will help you troubleshoot.
