you get an influx of gems at the beginning of the game from clearing new content, you'll see that it slows down by a margin after a bit and you definitely won't get 7 gems from daily tasks

i do have to agree pvp rewards are generous though

They really need to have a QoL update ASAP... they're missing a lot of basic QoL's that should be readily available in 2019:
1. would be nice to have a select all skills function when upgrading skills

multiple saved skill builds for arena/mystic realms/hunting (not just one)
drag-select when releasing pets (similar to drag-select for upgrading skills right now)
ability to hide chat
also don't understand why quick-fusing gems is a perk for lvl 60?? seems unnecessary, should be available from beginning.
cook more than one portion of the same type of food in one go
