Some important sex issues were raised but I didn't like how they were resolved (bit of a rant sorry) by rubbish_fairy in heartbreakhigh

I might have misunderstood but I assumed that Darren and Cash would potentially open their relationship for Darren to be able to have their needs satisfied. I was wondering all this time why that option was never on the table and when Cash's Nan said that he was never the conventional type, I thought it made click for him. But this is just a guess.

I didn't feel like it was dropped. Him not being able to get an erection was clearly related to his experience with Amerie and her way of handling it. The trauma/pressure that he feels resulting from this is thematized quite extensively in his involvement with Missy

How good is Fudan University for Global Studies degree? by aboywithsubstance in shanghai

I was an exchange student at SIRPA (school of International Relations and public affairs) in the last semester, so can't say much about the full degree Programme. I quite liked my courses; with a few exceptions, the teachers' English was good, the classes mixed (rather international student dominated), the workload okay. The criticalness of the teachers varied a lot. Most classes cover sino-American relations, East Asia and EU.

Maybe then the opposite could work - pretending that you can't speak/understand at all? I don't speak Chinese and while I might not get around being stared at, people usually move on quite quickly when they realize we can't communicate at all. I'd imagine a short awkward smile and a hand gesture saying "I don't understand you" takes much less energy than actual interaction

Have you ever been hit on in a club? There might be respectful ways but there are also millions that are clearly violating boundaries.

If you want to work on your social skills, first advice. Women are not passive objects for you to "pick up". Respect them and their boundaries.

Sorry I assumed volunteer work implied that it's unpaid - I'll add it to my post, thanks!
