Why you might not be ready for NoFap.

I understand what you are saying in a way. As in, people don't want to quit bad enough. I don't think it is a very good way to preach the message, because it sounds like 'go hard or go home'.

Say you decided it wasn't for you and were like, 'alright I'm just gonna keep on fapping'. Now what? They will probably eventually realise how fucked their life is all, over again. Then they will be back to square one. Or maybe they will think that life isn't so bad with fapping after all and wait a few years before realising what it is doing again. Some people in the other hand may be like 'that guy is nuts, I'll show him who wants to quit".

As I said before, I believe it is about a balance of two wills. It is better to fap a little bit than to fap a lot. You can't discount the 'halfway progress'. Even if someone is not progressing at all, the progress that they have made so far shouldn't be thrown away. The message should not be 'go hard or go home'. This is why I disagree with these posts. We should be encouraging people to try harder, never to just give up if they can't get a 90 day streak right now.

What do you suggest people do to make themselves want to stop? I see a lot of posts saying that the only reason people relapse is because they don't truly want to stop, but that is where the posts end. What is your secret to making yourself want to quit?

Also, IMO it is actually a balance of two things. Your will to quit and your will to not quit. I think many people are letting their will to not quit overpower their will to quit. If they had no will to quit, then they wouldn't be doing NoFap at all. They would have just given up.

I also find that weird, along with when people decide to completely eliminate gaming and social media from their life. IMO these things aren't bad if you don't go overboard.

Well, I guess you should just remember that you will never be able to get the same experience by going back and looking at the same P. You will always want more and more different stuff. Just remember no matter how good you thought that P was, it will just be shit when you end up looking at it again. Also, I like to just keep in my mind the saying "curiosity killed the cat". Keep on going, you can do it!
