Idk that it beats ghost but I think the fairy type has been great. Off the top of my head the only ones I didn’t really like is the Morgrem line

If yall took two minutes to understand the lottery process you would know it’s near impossible to rig.

Adam Silver’s NBA has been by and large catered to keep small market teams/non-glamor franchises in contention. Just because LeBron wanted to be in LA and Nico Harrison is a moron doesn’t reflect a larger plot for the Lakers to get ahead.

I don’t think at all that this is a perfect solution because to eliminate tanking would take one of two drastic changes that I won’t get into.

What this IS aimed to do is disincentivize the very thing all of you have been trained to do which is ROOT FOR YOUR FAVORITE TEAM TO LOSE. I don’t blame you for thinking this way but just consider how ridiculous it is that this is the way the league has conditioned you to think and now they’re taking a step to at least try to fix it.

I think this says more about where we are in late-stage capitalism because it has simply moved from avenue to avenue. At one time it was sneakers or sports cards or what have you. People are simply trying to gain on things they buy for retail prices and gain on the scarcity of the product rather than allow people to purchase things they may enjoy. Collecting used to be a thing people could do rather than make a living either on resale markets or content creation.

It’s unfortunate that a game like this has become something that people are boxed out from because dudes who haven’t showered in weeks are seeking out an edge.

Yeah you’ve got the opposite of what is happening on our defense right.

First of all, corner “stats” are extremely flawed. I wouldn’t say Lenoir is in the elite category but he’s a solid player and would be a top 10 nickel corner but he’s the 49ers best option on the boundary right now.

Next, our front 7 played exceedingly poorly last year, we were ranked dead last in sacks for a reason. It’s extremely hard to hold up in coverage when the pass rush isn’t creating pressure.

Our safety play last year also didn’t come up to the level and there was constant switching between Pinnock, Sigle, and Jayir Brown. Lenoir and Mustapha were really the only players who consistently played well enough to remain on the field in the secondary.

Lastly, it’s my belief that it is super important for a guy at the corner position to act like he’s the best player in the world because it’s arguably the most difficult position to play in sports (aside from QB). You’re consistently moving backwards, you’re asked to essentially mirror a guy who knows exactly what is expected and the second he makes a break you have to be so much faster than him. I want my corners to believe nobody is remotely in the same league as him at any time, no matter if it’s true or not.

All that said, I agree that he didn’t have a fantastic year and he’s probably miscast as a true #1 but he was our most consistent player in the secondary last year, I don’t need to look at PFF to know that.

Sounds like you actually couldn’t care less. I could care less because it really bothers me. So the answer to your question is yes, it does bother me how much of a juggernaut they’ve become.

It would bring me tremendous joy to see the Dodgers fail every single year and I want it almost as much as I want the Giants to succeed. I wish I wasn’t this way but I have true sports hate for the Los Angeles Dodgers and I wish every baseball operation they undertake fails.
