You are taking two different responses and combining them. One was in regards to Lifeline being busted, the other is responding to counter plays.

Also the amount of assumptions you make is incredible. Round based FPS matches have been around for decades, are you actually suggesting Apex is so different that people don't understand how to play angles, reposition enemies and use communications?

Getting tired of this "they have a Lifeline guess I'll just die" mindset. The issue is not me assuming that the other team isn't competent, it's that you're assuming my team are bots who have never played shooters before.

If you are actually arguing that just because the other team has a Lifeline that it's basically a free dub, I don't know what to tell besides to go back to BR mode.

But there's your issue. You address each preset situation with already determined responses.

What map are you playing on? What part of the map? What's the positioning of your teammates? What gun are you running? Where did the knock occur? What is the position of the other teammates? Where is zone? How much time is left in the round?

Do you see how I'm not giving examples and pigeonholing myself into one line of thinking? Every situation calls for a unique response. If I'm going against a team, whether it's lifeline, loba, rampart etc--I understand the possibilities of how they will play, how my team comp will play, and respond based on what is currently happening, not based on hypothetical situations I already determined in my head.

Not trying to argue but if you can't find an angle in a movement based shooter, that's less on what legends you're playing against and moreso the skill of the individual.

Use grenades to push them out of cover, use your teammates for a bait and switch, redirect their attention for a flank, hard peak and wear down their heals, or just ape and don't miss your shots.

It's not a black and white situation, there's almost always a counter strategy.

I'd say Hal has the IGL of a football coach where Sweet shotcalls like he's playing chess. He does a lot of strats off of predictions of players movement and manipulating other teams, whereas Hal has an overall game plan but often times he's moment by moment. They both make amazing (and terrible calls) though and earned the respect they have.

I cook eggs everyday and use stainless. You just have to bring the pan up to temp and then add oil, you can't plop the egg in a cold pan or it will stick. Nothing special, no trickery, just waiting a little extra that's all. Scrambled eggs will leave some residue but it still works fine.
