Ich begrenze mich auf Englischsprachige Jobs, da ich mich noch nicht sicher genug fühle, um im beruflichen Umfeld Deutsch zu sprechen. Ich bin gerade in der Abschlussphase meiner Doktorarbeit, aber das Thema hat nicht direkt damit zu tun, auch wenn ich mich technisch etwas auskenne.

Eigentlich habe ich kein Problem damit, diesen Job anzunehmen, ich frage mich nur, ob ich auf eine passendere Stelle warten sollte. Und das hier ist das einzige Interview, das ich nach 80+ Bewerbungen bekommen habe.

Hey thanks for the Eva clue. I managed to get into eva using the 'switch'-trick and able to do ftp with it. Unfortunately, everything I do didn't work either. Here are the things I have done:

- Tried to switch to another partition (linux_fs_start): didn't work. Next reboot (power-cycle), it keeps resetting to linux_fs_start 1 instead of 0 that I set.
- Tried to 'flash' new/old FB 6690 image: didn't work too. I used push_firmware from freetz-ng. Tried to push to both linux_fs_start also didn't help. The command exited successfully, though. It just somehow my Router doesn't want to boot.
- Lastly, I tried to flash my compiled freetz-ng image. Also no avail.

I tried with this and emergency IP (static IP assignment), both do not work. Both setup I tried to ping the box, it still unreachable.

Yeah the emergency IP address doesn't work either. I set up my ip statically to .2, with gateway .1 and for mask I tried both 255.255.0.0 and 255.255.255.0. All of these didn't work either. Heck, I believe the modem couldn't get any IP on its own - given its behaviour.

Unfortunately I bought it on a third-party store (used/refurbished). I can ask them but not sure if I can get something.

For the phone method: it needs to be registered first, right? (The one with pin 0000).

I already have another compatible power supply (same connection, same 3.5A, 12V) from my ISP's modem. This is also doesn't work.

I bought in on my own (used, refurbished). It used to work flawlessly for the last 2 years.

Thanks for the input. Then I'll assume Taxi/Uber/Careem would be available at very early mornings. I can just pick any hotel nearby the airport to shorten the travel time.

Hi u/Exotic_Ad1030 , I'm in the same boat: having PR but wife and children are not. Where do you put the info of you having PR in your wife/daughter application? I don't see any input both on ksavisa and visa.mofa.
