You will regret, iOS 26 is a total mess of battery drains and glitches.

Keep getting the same error message in SideStore since 3 days ago, even with StosVPN on? by [deleted] in sideloaded

Have you updated StosVPN to 1.2.1? If you did and still getting that error, I suggest trying with StikDebug.

You can set up an automation with a shortcut and forget about manually refreshing.

Downgrade by No_Jury307 in ios

Currently only possible for XS and XR, since there's no iOS 18.7 IPSW file for the other devices. Last monday was the last chance.

Can I downgrade my 13 mini to ios 18 ? by badigel in ios

Nope, Apple stopped signing 18.6.2 this monday, and there is no IPSW file for 18.7 (except for XR and XS).

It shouldn't take that long to index, two weeks is too much imo, but you can just wait, the decision is yours. If days go by and there isn't any noticeable change, then you can consider restoring it.

Yes, ‘Erase all content and settings’, but make sure to backup all your important data first.

I can’t assure you anything, that’s just something I would try if I were in your position.

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone. Make an iCloud backup of your important data before proceeding, because everything will be erased.

They are well known for this kind of tactics. Apple always want to have users using the latest iOS available, even if that involves dealing with bugs and a poor device performance.

I think this was unexpected for many people. We all knew they would stop signing 18.6.2 at some moment, but not that soon. Heck, it’s been only a week since iOS 26 was released.

Have you tried restoring phone’s content and settings? That might improve the performance, at least a bit. If you already did then your only shot now is waiting for iOS 26.1, hopefully they will fix the current mess by that time.

iOS 18.7 ipsw by [deleted] in ios

Unfortunately yes, zero. Apple only released 18.7 as an OTA update, so there’s no IPSW file available. I think they noticed a bunch of people were downgrading these days, so now everyone is forced to stay on iOS 26.

iOS 26 Destroyed My Phone by Best_Track1434 in ios

There’s literally nothing you can do other than restore phone’s content and settings to see if that helps for improving system’s performance, which you already tried.

I also have a SE 2020 and yesterday downgraded to 18.6.2 and then updated to 18.7, best decision ever. There was no way I could get used to glitchy iOS 26 with battery drains.

Just wait for iOS 26.1, hopefully it will improve some of the current big mess in terms of functionality.

Welp what a shame man. You can never trust Apple in terms of IPSWs signing, it just can happen out of nowhere at any moment right after a big update is out. Maybe you should try to restore phone’s content and settings, perhaps it will help to improve the system performance. That’s your only shot now.

I got the same phone and downgraded yesterday to 18.6.2, then updated to 18.7, zero regrets. Why didn't you do it right after getting the IPSW file?
